The food was amazing! We had pepper fish talapia, jollof rice, white rice, egusi and beef. Also customer service was great from... all staff there. One recommendation would be to decorate and utilize dine in area and have as option. We were able to sit andeat there but the lights were out and chairs and table was not set up- we would not have known we could eat there if we didn?task. But overall the food and customer service was great! Read more

Best West African Food in the DMV for a decent price. The service is usually not that good. But it?s better than other... Restaurants. It feels authentic never been to Nigeria. But In blood I?m 70 percent. So it?s good. Read more

I love the food here but I won't be coming back. I tip everytime I go. But today was enough for me..... The attitude of the... cashier lady needs to change. I'm not the only person who has said something about her attitude. Then my order was completelywrong. Great food but I believe that people's energy can be tasted in the food..... But today the food was nasty and so was herattitude. Read more

I just moved to the area and have been looking for authentic African cuisine. This is my second week in a row I have went here.... The cashier(Woman) was very welcoming and professional. The music in the restaurant was nice. The location is very clean. Lotsof parking thank god that was not an issue. I ordered the ?Asun? and my GOD it?s hot but so good. My meal was Cassava/beef withwhite rice. Everything was perfect. Comfort food is what I call it. I give this place 5 stars. I can?t wait to order the snails. They do make though you don?t see it on the menu. You have to call a week in advance if you want some. I will be placing myorder next week. Read more

This was a terrible experience, so bad that I never usually do reviews but this felt like a complete rip off. To start, I asked... the cashier some questions about the dishes and she acted annoyed as if I shouldn?t have asked her anything and said ?I don?tknow how to explain that to you?. Then, I ordered the goat with jollof rice and the usual place I go to gives me a nice portionof goat meat, rice, it comes with some sweet plantains, and an egg. I also requested peppers and extra stew on my rice with noextra charge and it call comes out to be $20. I ordered the same thing from Naija cafe, the food tasted good but I had to pay alittle over $3 for plantains that were dry and they only provided a small portion of goat meat which you can see how much extraspace there is in the picture I uploaded along with rice and the stew I requested. They didn?t have eggs or peppers to add to mymeal which would?ve been fine if it wasn?t $25.33. My usual place provides much more at a better price and withfaster/friendlier service, I?ve also uploaded a screenshot of their prices so it doesn?t seem like I?m exaggerating. Read more

So. I placed an order over the phone and then decided to add an order of Asun when I got to the restaurant. I told myself I will... just taste my Egusi with Goat meat while waited for the Asun. Listen. I couldn't stop eating. It was so so good. Idk if it'sauthentic, because I'm not an expert, but what I am an expert in is knowing what taste good. And this food tastes GOODT. TheEgusi had a very slight natural and extremely pleasant sweetness and a nice bit of spice. So well flavored. And the goat meat!My GOODNESS. Idk what they do to the meat, but they should never stop. Now, I've had Asun from other places in Maryland and theyshould be ASHAMED for calling it Asun. Again, idk, but I'm pretty sure, this is very close to authentic, and if it isn't, itshould be. It was beyond good. Spicy but good spicy. I couldn't stop eating that either. Anyway. Support this place. I have apicture of the Asun, but the Egusi didn't quite make it. Read more

African restaurant with mainly West African/ Nigerian dishes. Food is delicious, portion size and price are okay. No in house... dining due to the pandemic. Order ahead and pick up or prepare to wait if walking in. Read more
