I'm extremely satisfied with my experience from here. It's the top rated restaurant in Clinton for a reason. Everything was... top-notch! From the wide variety of wines to the seasonal cocktail list to the classic dishes that should be in every town. Itwas all done right. Best place hands down for, by far, the most excellent food I've ever had. Been coming here since the beginning, and have always... had the most wonderful experience. From the wonderful staff, to the food, and the ambiance. You just can't beat it. The ownerElias is, in a word, a "genius." His recipes by far are simply superb. I have tried most everything on the menu at one time oranother, and I have yet to have a bad meal. I usually ask for Stephanie. She is my go to waitress. She is always verypersonable, and accommodating. She is simply a joy to have serving me. I always tip her well, as she is deserving of it. Myfavorite dishes are the mussels on the half shell. Always big and meaty, imported straight from New Zealand. The broth is likenothing I've ever had before, truly addictive. The burrata, prosciutto, and fruit mostarda hors'd'ouveur, is not to be missed.House made cream and ricotta filled burrata mozzarella, with the salty nuttiness of the imported prosciutto, and the sweet tarttaste of the homemade fig, black cherry, and apricot fruit mostarda. Drizzled with balsamic infused olive oil. It is justsuperb. As far as dinner dishes go. I thoroughly enjoy his homemade lobster filled ravioli, covered in his homemade lobsterbisque. What a perfect complement to such a delicate ravioli. It's even crowned with extra lobster meat. His seafood Alfredo,which is fairly new, is a true gem. Sweet Maine lobster meat. With plump shrimp, and tender sea scallops, tossed in a homemadeAlfredo sauce, with his house made fettuccine. Just excellent!!! Even though it is a bit pricey, I have, on occasion, had hisexquisite filet mignon. Always cooked to a perfect medium/rare, with that savory wine sauce. We were surprised to find such a well refined bistro in Clinton. Staff was friendly, the decor is tasteful, warm and... comfortable. Buffalo chicken dip is delicious along with prepared to order crispy tortilla chips. Crusted haddock is awesome!Risotto with asparagus is creamy and very tasty. The best bites during this visit with friends was the lunch burger, pastramisandwich and pizza with Mediterranean salad. All were delicious, especially the sweet potato fries and Parmesan fries that camewith the sandwich and burger. On another visit, the Dinner special was a 32 oz Bone in ribeye steak. Always loved this restaurant and highly recommended it in the past. However, to my dismay and disappointment I have ordered the... fried clams twice as a takeout meal over the summer. I was charged $38 for 12-15 fried clams and a handful of French fries. Igave them a pass the first time I ordered them but today not only was the meal sparse, but the clams were tough and cold. Neveragain. Save your money. The restaurant gets an “F” on their takeout fried clams???? Read more

It’s a solid place far exceeding expectations. Service is middle of the road and food is quite good. I’d say the pricing... is in line with the quality produced. I didn’t go for entrees so I can’t speak to them but they might push into 5 starterritory. We had the spinach artichoke dip and the beet salad. Better than average but not something that was wow. The chipsthat came with the dip were fresh but not what I would like for the combo. It’s fine but a bread would have been amazing. Itkind of works as is. The beet salad was better than average just a solid choice. Drinks are solid, well crafted and pricedright. I’d recommend this place if you’re in the area. Read more

Wow! If you’re in the area(or even not) you NEED to come here and you NEED to ask for Ricky. Seriously the BEST service and... the food was incredible. I got Greek salad with salmon, Amazing!!! And the hubby got the bourbon steak he said was delicious! Wewill be back asap! And the bread pudding… AMAZING!!! Read more

Okay, I’ve been to a few restaurants the last couple of years ! I went in for lunch with my buddy Bill and was totally... impressed with Clinton’s Bar & Grille! The bread/oil and cheese was fantastic!!! The short rib sandwich on brioche, out ofthis world ! Bill’s lasagna was also top notch and the presentation for both were excellent !
