I ran here on my lunch break thinking it was a buffet. The front door was locked but I was able to go in through the grocery... store next door. I waited a bit before another human being entered the room. It seemed one lady was running the whole show.This let customers having to wait a bit. On the lunch special, you can choose 2 entrees from a list. I chose Tandoori Chickenand Butter Chicken. It came with a salad, yogurt dressing, basmati rice, a dessert ball, and a huge pile of Naan. The TandooriChicken was excellent. The flavor was amazing. I enjoyed the Butter Chicken but it wasn't a standout dish to me. The naan wasgreat but I couldn't eat it all. Would I go back? Absolutely! The food was great and the price was very reasonable for theamount of food on that huge plate. Read more
A taste of India was a palate awakening that I needed in my life! I wanted to try some new food and I was not disappointed!... Everyone there were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help my friend and I pick foods that would be right forus while teaching us a little about the culture! I recommend the vegetable samosas and the chicken curry and the butter chicken!Omg! And the naan was amazing too! They found a new customer in me! Read more
They always treat us so well here, and the food is great! If you have time, stop by the store next door. They have loads of... wonderful Indian and other style foods. This place is definitely on our repeat visit list! Read more
It was an okay experience. The paneer tikka masala (hot) was good, not too much paneer in there, and it was sliced in small... cubes. Rice was okay, tasted a bit bland. I did not like their garlic naan much. It was dry, too. Read more
Very delicious Indian food stopped here on our way back to California. The food and service did not disappoint. the mango lassi... was on point along with the butter chicken and saag paneer the garlic naan was very delicious. They also have a store next doorwith Inidan candy which is my favorite kind of candy and is so hard to find where I live so I was very excited about that and tobring some home with me. Read more
We are on our way to Texas, called the Place to checkout if they can accommodate us , as we were reaching 15 mins before closing... time. I think the owner took our Order ahead of time and by the time we reached they arranged the dining table with water ,plates and napkins. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty adults and kids enjoyed the food. Staff and owner was very kind and veryrespectful. Though we stayed beyond closing time they never asked us to leave. Stopped in my first time today, and LOVED it! The lunch platter is a lot of food at a great price; but more importantly it is... great food. I lived for four years in Osaka, Japan, and frequently ate at authentic Indian cafes; Taste of India is the samegreat food (with larger portions and lower prices)! You need to give it a try! I have ordered goat biryani today . It wasn?t good. They just mixed rice and goat , no taste, didn?t get yogurt with that. Even... didn?t send any napkins . Read more
