Located on the historic Clinton Square, China House is a good restaraunt option in the town. Food disappears quickly from the... buffet bar, and occasionally demand exceeds supply! The buffet is very good, but not outstanding as the spicing is relativelylow-key to accommodate diverse palates with minimum extra seasoning - it is well cooked and reasonably enjoyable. Staff isfriendly and kitchen will accommodate extra and/or unusual requests where possible, Orders from the menu are fresher, of course,and there is a much greater selection. If you're not familiar with Clinton you'll probably need some directions to get there. It's downtown on the square. It's also a... very busy place. Lots of carryout orders and plenty of people coming in for dining. Reasonably priced food. The best thing isthat everything tastes great! I had the moo goo gai pan. It was hot and freshly prepared. I had a couple of crab rangoon withit. The flavor was excellent and it looked great too! The servers were extremely busy yet did a great job. This place might be areason for me to actually drive back into Clinton again. It is worth the side trip. Read more
Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant around, even better than a lot of The Chinese restaurants in Kansas City! Prices are... reasonable, portions are good and food is superb. Anytime I?m hungry for Chinese food this is the go to place even though thereis a Chinese restaurant in the town I live in I drive a little further to eat here. Read more
