Wow, stayed at a local hotel in town and was asking for a recommendation for a quick bite to eat. The front desk clerk... recommended this place to us, and said it was one of their favorites. After eating there we have to agree. We were greetedquickly and promptly by the staff, and the manager jokingly, took us over and gave us a special table. we ordered the fish andchips and the October special of Wiener schnitzel, and both of these offerings were off the charts. The fish was done perfectly,beer battered cod that was absolutely scrumptious. The Wiener schnitzel was made with wonderful, tender veal, and the flavor wasoutstanding. The spaetzel and red cabbage accompaniment just took it to another level. And best of all we got to wash it alldown with ice cold smithwicks beers. Went there for the first time tonight with my dad and my wife for Father?s Day. Called earlier in the afternoon to make a... reservation with no problem for dinner on the outside patio in the evening. Food was great and the hostess? (blue dress) wasawesome.
