We stopped for a meal on the way home from Wisconsin. We've stopped there before and enjoyed excellent food! They gave a nice... selection of food on the menu. Wraps, burgers, and pizza are great, and the salads look amazing! Be sure to check the boardfor specials that are sure to please! We'll be sure to stop again! Great food, but if they cooked fish and fries in separate grease from shellfish (shrimp)to avoid allergies wife could have eaten... as well. Great staff and drinks but my family cant eat there. Read more
Came to Boxcar with family for lunch on Memorial Day (just passing through)...our experience was AMAZING!! FABULOUS... service...the food was absolutely wonderful (large portions, too)...and I was stunned by the prices!! We all(5 adults) had anentrée and 3 of us had an alcoholic beverage...only $60 tab!! For starters, I would?ve rated this place a solid 5/5 stars. Other than the fact that two sandwiches took over a half hour after... ordering to be served. Then once we were finished eating it took over another 20 or so minutes to be brought our check to pay.If it wasn?t for the poor quality of customer service I would?ve rated 5 stars. Stopped for lunch on the way to a small car show at a local nursing home. The food and service was excellent! Very friendly and... efficient staff! Boxcars Pub is about 50 miles from home but I will definitely be back. Not one bad meal was served to our partyof 8, salad's, burgers, beef, shrimp and fish were all delish! Read more
