Went there on a whim. Was very pleasantly surprised. I frequent Guadalajara because I work with some engineers from there - and... the food here was literally the quality and taste of what I eat there. Not surprising, server told that the owners/cooks are herparents and are from Guadalajara. Now you do want to keep in mind that Gdl is a little different when it comes to lime / spicesusage and I find that taste almost like home now, but it will be different from your typical tex mex taste. Also - pretty longwait, however IMO the food is worth it. For some that may be a deal breaker. Read more
We ordered catering for a large group (baseball team) staying at a nearby hotel. The staff went above and beyond to help us plan... our menu, and everything was ready for us right on time. I used to eat here a lot six years ago I had returned and the food was amazing they make guacamole at your table. I had ordered... the fajitas and they had such an amazing seasoning to them. Also I will definitely come back for the desserts it was supertasty, check out the photo below. We had the owners daughter be our server and she did an excellent job. Bruh. It was so delicious. The house salsa is great, tastes fresh and the queso was also really good. I had the Agave Burrito... and it was great. It was not only beautiful but incredibly filling and delicious. Read more
Clean restaurant, waiter was wonderful, food was fresh and delicious. I took some home to go for my husband. I had the shrimp... soft tacos and my husband got the beef, also the chicken. Shrimp was plentiful and cooked perfectly. Price was veryreasonable. I am from 2 hours away and I will definitely be back. Read more
We came in late, at 9, so still 30 open minutes left. So the kitchen was out of many things. It sucked cause it forced us to... order things we did not want, still good but not what we wanted. The biggest reason they did not get 5 stars though was becausethey did not sell alcohol of any kind. No margaritas, no cervesa. Makes me wonder if they lost their liquor license. Longstory short, I will go to Monterey or El Rodeo next time. Read more
This restaurant is ALWAYS clean. This is a small family-owned establishment and they provide some of the freshest, most... delicious food. The table-side guacamole is often our reason for visiting. So delish!! Read more
