Great selection of steak and the seafood essentials - salmon, scallops, and shrimp, which can be prepared a few different ways.... I got bacon wrapped scallops and crab-stuffed shrimp, and I would have preferred the scallops without bacon. The salad bar hada great variety of ingredients and a few pasta salads. I would have liked to see small label cards for each ingredient containerbecause while some were obvious to identify, not all of them were. Service was wonderful, across the board! Our server checkedback often and got our orders perfectly correct. Overall, I would recommend visiting John & Nick's and enjoying a wonderfulmeal experience! Read more
Trying to keep my business local. Stopped in for carry out. Ordering from the bar was easy, beautiful atmosphere. The salad bar... on the other side of restaurant was immaculate. Jolene was friendly and very helpful, assisting me with a container fordressing. The 12oz filled was cooked to perfection as was the shrimp. Ordered fried, but received grilled shrimp by mistake. Our friends recommended arriving 10-minutes before opening on a Saturday evening. Boy, were we glad we followed their advice.... The line formed, and we were at the front. It's no wonder there was a line: The steaks are high quality, chef prepared morselsof goodness, and the accompanying salad bar was fantastic. We have always loved to go here to eat. This was the first time we were disappointed in our steaks. I ordered mine med well, my... husband's and sister in law ordered theirs to be med rare. Mine was med rare and theirs were well done. My brother's steak wasfine. When you pay this much for a steak you want it cooked the way you order it. Everything else was great. Did get a littleattitude from the guy at the front who set us at our table. We wanted the bar area instead of the dinning room. They were notthat busy at the time. ???? Read more
