Went to McDonald?s early this morning after having blood drawn. Went in to see the ?new? remodel, ?order stations on both sides... of the hallway size lobby. People everywhere and no organization?. Went to the only ?service? register. And observed 3 clerksdoing nothing?finally asked if I ordered at the kiosk.I stated ?No I want to order here??kid says ?we only take orders at theself service but they take cash?! I stated I didn?t want to use the self service? and he again says ?we only take ordersthere??I turn to leave but after listening to the manager yelling at the crew to tuck in shirts (actually saw a clerk tuck intheir shirt?gross!!!) and ?look sharp? because supervision was visiting today I decided to tell the obnoxious kid to get themanager. He tells her some guy is complaining (me!) and wants to pay up front?she yells (never saw manager, only heard herbooming voice) to take my order. I thanked the obnoxious kid and said you lied and obviously could take my order but chose notto. Bye liar!!! What a shitshow!!! Btw Taco Bell made a great breakfast burrito!!! Waited over 25 minutes to pick up my order. Talked to another Dasher there who had to wait 28 minutes for his order. And also... over heard a lady that had placed a order there and had been waiting over 30 minutes and they had to take her order again. Sheprobably ended up waiting a whole hour for her food. I went to have lunch today and see the new remodel. I noticed several kiosks and one register, so I waited at the register to... place my order. After about 5 minutes a young man asked if I needed assistance and I said I would like to place an order. Hewalked me over to the kiosks and informed me that I needed to place my order there, the manager no longer allows him to takeorders. I said no thank you, I'll eat elsewhere and drove down the road to In-n-Out where I was cheerfully greeted by adelightful young lady. I placed my order and had a great lunch. It surprised me that McDonald's would take this step toinconvenience a significant group of customers. What about the elderly, handicapped or mentally challenged individuals. They maynot have the ability or the patience to attempt to use a kiosk. And then not allow your employees to take their orders? Shame onyou!! McDonald's is now the Walmart of the fast food restaurants. Have the customers do the work for you so you can cut yourstaffing needs. I can live without McDonald's and will do nicely. There is no shortage of fast food restaurants in theFresno/Clovis area which still value customer service and customer satisfaction. Read more
