The food was OK. The pizza crust was good, but the cheese taste it take like it wasn't gooey. The mozzarella sticks taste it,... almost the same. It literally tasted like the cheese sticks you get from the grocery store and just put breadcrumbs on it andfried it. The ranch sauce was not good either, and the only thing I can say that actually tasted good was the pizza crust andthe marinara sauce that came with the mozzarella sticks. Read more
I've been there several times, and I'm impressed by the food. If you try either the Philly cheesesteak or hot pastrami... sandwiches, you'll throw rocks at Subway and the other sandwich shops! The pizza is honestly the BEST I've had, loaded withtoppings. The prices are still reasonable, and the bar serves great Margaritas, and cold beer. The staff is friendly, and theservice is a bit relaxed, but you can easily flag down a waiter for whatever you need. It's hard to find real value for yourmoney now, but that's what you'll get here. What's not to enjoy at Straw Hat Pizza? All those appetizers - Garlic Parmesan Groovy Twists, Green Bean Crispers, Mozzarella... Sticks, Jalapeno Poppers, Seasoned Potato Wedges, Buffalo Fries, Chicken Wings, I could go on and on. Wonderful salads, MasterClass Pizza. Enjoy! Read more
Wasn't busy but server took forever to take our order. Water tasted funny so we got a pitcher of sprite afterwards. After we... finished eating asked the server for to go boxes and the check. Server only got the boxes so I had to go find the server afteranother +5 minutes to get our check. Like I said they weren't busy. Read more
Visited for the first time, food was okay. Service was okay as well. Nothing impressive yet, they?ve only been open for a little... while. They do have a nice bar inside and Patio seating. I think this place has potential to be great! I think they are arestill working out the kinks of being a new restaurant. So if you visit, don?t be upset if things don?t go smoothly. This was our first time coming here. We had heard good things. We came to watch the Thursday night Steelers game. When we first... got there the place was EMPTY. I was worried. We were greated right away by a gentleman behind the bar, we ask if he was goingto have the game & he said he would put it on. They had over 20 TV's no matter wear you sit there's a TV. We ordered wing, abeer & a soda. Beer was ice cold & the wings were delicious! They were huge. Later we ordered mozzarella sticks & they were goodalso. We also ordered a large pizza & let me tell you this was the BEST pizza I ever ate. The toppings were fresh, the crust waslight & crispy, oh and did I mention it was piled high with toppings!! I have zero complaints about the food. About 5:00 theplace got pretty packed & throughout the night kept pretty busy. Let's talk staff-The staff there was AMAZING!The gentleman manthat greated us was super nice but his shifted ended so he introduced us to our new waitress. From the moment we were greateduntil the time we left they took great care of us. Our waitress was named Jessica & she NEVER let my glass empty, she checked onus a million times making sure we had everything we needed. We also had an gentleman and I hate myself for not getting his namebut he was also AMAZING!! They were all so very nice & it was the best customer service I have had in a very longtime. Facility- They had a million TV's (over 20) for sure, everywhere you look there is a TV. There is a few claw machines, apool table, darts, and video games. The place is spotless!! And believe me I look!! The bathrooms were super clean & stocked tothe brim. Now I know this is a super long review but this place definitely deserved a great review.
