Excellent food and service. By far the best restaurant in Clovis. I ordered a ribeye steak cooked rare with asparagus and... truffle sauce. It was perfect. My wife ordered the salmon with asparagus and fries, and that was also perfect. The flat breadappetizer was delicious. We ordered cheesecake and ice cream for dessert; and it tasted amazing. I had the fried risotto appetizer and it was wonderful. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were cooked... perfectly and the grits were smokey, cheesy and very flavorful. Service was a bit slow, but probably just due to being brand new& getting the kinks worked out. Definitely recommend! Definitely will be back! Read more
Ok, so I totally get what they\'re trying to do here and I appreciate that, especially for Clovis. Unfortunately, it doesn\'t... quite hit the mark, in my opinion. The food was pretty good, not great, but it is all pretty overpriced for how small theportions are. Did we leave full, sure. But to the tune of $100 for a date night meal, I don\'t think we\'ll go back.\nOverall...The calamari was great, the rolls were boring and tasted store bought, the meals were OK and the dessert was unsatisfying. My husband and I just had our 10 year anniversary and it was so nice to get to go somewhere nicer in town to celebrate! We had... steak, lamb, and dessert with no complaints. It was all delicious and while some items are pricey it was perfect for our specialoccasion. The service was amazing and we got to talk to the owner as well!
