Menu for Lakeside Inn & Restaurant - Bar in Cloyne, ON

Last night two friends and I needed a place to stay the night and we came in asking if there was a room availability to which... the lady confirmed there was. We asked if we could see the room prior to staying to which she responded "I'm not going to playthis game, you either stay or you don't". We did not feel welcomed and felt completely disrespected by her. This was extremelyrude and lowest level of customer service. Reading the other reviews of other customers I'm not sure how the owner hasn'tidentified this staff member is a big issue to his customer satisfaction and is impacting his business negatively. CustomerService drives business and If nothing is done this employee will unfortunately drive this hotel out of business. Read more

The manager Roxanne was an amazing person, so welcoming! She goes above and beyond her duties! The first night we were there a... gentleman was trying to get gas but all the stations were closed! Roxane went and gave him all the gas she had for herlawnmower! The next night another couple had come to make a call, his mother?s car battery had died up the road! So what do youknow Roxanne runs in finds her booster cables drives down the road to boost the mothers car! We were truly amazed!The staffRachel and Tyler were also amazing! Very welcoming and personable! Real people! This would be the first place we have everstayed that felt like home! Very clean, comfortable and quiet ! We would highly recommend this place! This a thanks letter for two awesome ladies, Roxanne and Rachel work in here. My mom's car stuck in a place 15 km away from this... place last night. Her car was out of gas and the car key had no battery. Me and my wife drove 3 hours from toronto and tried tosave her. But when we arrived, we found out the car was out of battery. It was late night. And the place had pool signal. I wasdevastated until I found out this place. All stuffs in this place were trying to look for the Booster cables for me. And twobeautiful ladies found a pair of those and drive 15 km to help us boost the car. I can't express how much grateful I am to thepeople and Roxanne and Rachel who saved us. Thank you! It was in mid night, I didn't see any view of the lake nearby. I seemany views of beautiful heart. Highly recommend this place. Read more

We stayed during the Canada day long weekend. Check in was super easy. Sufficient parking spaces. The rooms are newly renovated... and clean. Best of the best, Roxanne offered us to charge our electric car. Although It?s 12A but it definitely helps. Read more

Upon arrival, did not feel very welcomed at all. Whether the lady was having a bad day?? We stood in the hall for about 5... minutes when we decided to ring the bell. We showed up after 5pm. She was abrupt when questioning when I made the reservation.After getting settled in a bit after 6pm, we then decide to check out the restaurant, and even that experience was as we walkedin "we are closed bud" and that was it. Sunday at 9am, restaurant still said closed. So for anyone who may rely on food from therestaurant, maybe stop in another town first. I will say the rooms were clean in a sense, the view I had from my room was aparked car beside my window. Upon leaving we said good morning, and she pleasantly said it back.
