Sahm's Haven has quickly become one of our family's favorite restaurants. The food is good. The building is nice with great... views. Nothing beats pulling the boat up to the dock for either lunch or dinner. This is a wonderful benefit to have onHeritage Lake. Read more
This place is legitimately terrible. It was good for the first week it opened, but has gone downhill at supersonic speed. ... Everytime I or my wife have eaten there, the food has not only been awful, but ridiculously expensive (especially for theterrible quality). As a property owner at Heritage Lake, I would love to know where all the POA dues that helped fund there-zoning and associated variances of this area, the build-out, and the granting of a new 3-way liquor license went, especiallyconsidering since apparently the POA doesn't even actually own the liquor license and the restaurant tenant magically doesn'thave to pay rent on the building that WE paid for. the breaded tenderloin is as good as their other stores; nice ratio of breading to meat; tender and moist; five stars. The... grilled tenderloin had good seasoning but was dry and chewy. Waffle fries needed a bit more cooking as they were cold and notvery crisp The tater tots were warm and crispy. Took away one star for using styrofoam. Read more
Food Is Superb. Don't know if Cheyanna is New or Just Needs More Training. Have gotten Better Service from the Bartender... tonight. Even though I'm sitting on the Patio. *Edited on 7/30/21* Upgraded from 2 to 4 stars for the following reasons: 1)The food was very good. It was what I expected the... first time but didn't get. I had the fish tacos. I feel very confident that on any future visits it will maintain its presentlevel of quality. I'm leaving my original review so the difference can be seen. The location can't be beat but the food wasdisappointing. I got the grilled cheese brisket. What little meat on it was overly salted, mostly onions, and prettyunpalatable. There wasn't a lot of cheese either. Basically, I ate grilled bread. The fries came cold and were replaced at myrequest with mac and cheese, which was ok, but seemed like canned cheese sauce? They also replaced the fries that were hot. Theservers were pretty good and very sweet. I know they're new and I'll give them another chance, but they won't get a third visitif my opinion doesn't improve. There are way too many other places to eat that provide a better product at the same, or lower,price point. Read more
For the love of God - please put seasoning on the food. Chili needs seasoning, stir fry needs seasoning, Mac & cheese needs... seasoning. PUT SOME SEASONING IN YOUR RECIPE. Read more
