Amazing food! Fries and gravy, incredible. The grilled cheese burger (Colby) is beyond expectation, bobcaygeon IPA - wonderful... beer too. From being out of town - Guelph, this is an amazing stop to hit up! 100/10 would recommend. Service was quick,friendly and perfect! I have never had a good experience at the Pattie House. I have gone multiple times and they are almost always sold out of... everything. Doesn't matter when I go. Or they charge for appetizers that never came out, despite us asking multiple times. Nowtheir new ice cream takeout is just as bad. We rang the doorbell (at 2pm on a Saturday) 5 times. Waited for over 5 minutes. Noone ever came. We even poked our head in the restaurant..pretty much empty and still no one greeted us at the door. Goelsewhere. Read more
Food and service were good but it was 100 degrees in the restaurant. They didn?t have the ac on for some reason when there was a... heat warning ?.,, a fight also broke out when we were trying to enjoy the band which no one seemed to do anything about it, theservers were laughing then continued to serve these people even when they were way passed the point of intoxication. I would give it negative stars if I could. Went in for something to eat and watch the band . Servers and band were great. Beverly was awesome! Sweetest server ever. Ordered salad with no tomatoes, and tacos (that had pico de gaillo) and she came back... to ask if I wanted it in my tacos with no tomatoes..I think that?s was just awesome, lovely lady and the food was good andfairly well priced. 1st time coming here after wanting to for some time. We ate on the patio which was severely neglected and in need of some tlc. ... From what I understand it used to be quite the popular spot. The food saved the review from being worse. Everything we had wascooked well and was filling and tasty, especially the tall cans of bud light. Went on patio, patio seemed rundown and needed some care. Inside dining areas were nice although there was a spot where there... was a bunch of carboard boxes. Felt bad for our server as she got called in last minute and got swamped with dine in on patio. 3stars for food and service but need to clean up. Read more
I have never ever walked into a restaurant hungry and struggled to eat the food. Even one dollar is too much for what they... served. We had to take the patty out of the burger in order to be able to at least eat the bun and the vegetables. The pattydidn't even taste like beef. And I had ordered chicken wings and the server brought me way way over cooked chicken fingers. Read more
