If you order one of their "specials", make sure you ask the price ahead of time or they'll charge you an arm and a leg. My... daughter took her mother out for supper. She ordered the special. It was mediocre at best. They charged her $29.99. Moreexpensive than almost every other item on their menu. My daughter is a young working woman. She'll need to work 4 hours, to payfor their dinner. The owner should be ashamed of himself taking advantage the way he did. I'd recommend anywhere else inCobourg for dinner. Read more

Don't eat here. Absolutely terrible restaurant. Had dinner tonight, there were only a couple other tables and it took over 30... minutes. The prices were absolutely ridiculous. Tiny portions, huge prices. I got the liver. One tiny piece of meat, overcooked bacon, fake mashed potatoes. My vegetables were tasty but undercooked. The shrimp penne my daughter ordered came in theform of spaghetti. Had 7 small shrimp in it, with the tails still attached. We weren't told the price of the special until wepaid. To our horror it was $29.99. For a cup of spaghetti with 7 small shrimp. Absolutely would not recommend unless you likethrowing money away. Read more

The food is always good- luv the grilled potatoes! Staff are always great. It?s time though to remove the Christmas decorations... from the outside front door and the crumpled fence signs. It makes the place look unkept. Read more

Service was great but we weren't impressed. Greek platter wasn't very good especially what seemed to be deep fried potato... wedges (dry and flavourless) when we were looking forward to roast potatoes. Souvlaki was just ok. They gouged us for saladupcharges and extra tzatziki so an average meal became stupid expensive. In fairness, one person in our party really liked theirchicken pot pie. A very hard working and friendly staff but unfortunately a disappointment in other ways. We visited on a Saturday evening when... there were only a handful (literally 3) customers and it took us more than 45 minutes to get our food. When we got our food,they forgot to bring the coleslaw with the burger and forgot to bring the grilled mushrooms and onions even though that was thewhole point of the burger. Once the food did arrive, as promised, it was just okay but definitely not worth the price. Thewaitress we had is extremely nice, caring and hard working but unfortunately it was not enough to cover for the numerousmistakes, the low quality food given the medium prices, the uninviting atmosphere next to the big road, and the time it took tomake it. Me and my girlfriends parents went to this lovely restaurant a week ago, and it couldn't of been any better. The food was... absolutely amazing, we all ordered the breakfast. Classic English style breakfast with all the fixings. Our server Claire aka"yorkshire spice," was super nice and was amazing to talk to. Would suggest this place to anyone I know. Always good food. It usually my breakfast place to go. Consistently good quality food served with a smile. I?ve tried all... the local places. Some are good one time and next not so good. If you come here you might be pleasantly surprised with thegreat food. Read more
