Our office staff had a wonderful company lunch at Golden Chopsticks a few weeks ago. The servers were attentive and all of our... individual orders arrived in a timely manner. Placed pick up order, specifically requested order to be made with no tempura due to an allergy, clarified twice on the phone... while making the order. Found out once I got home that all the rolls contained tempura and when I called back to let them knowthe waiter told me I didn't clarify to her,and that the rolls I ordered cannot be made without tempura. I have placed the sameorder multiple times before this and never had an issue. I was surprised that she was trying to argue with me and blaming me forthe mistake offering no form of resolution and now I have a 25$ order I can not eat. Very upset with customer service. Pleaseclarify to customers if something can not be done on the phone beforehand. Read more
My first time at Golden Chopsticks was take out but still very good. Very friendly and helpful service. It was pretty busy so I... did have to wait but it was worth it! Miso soup, 2 Boston Rolls and a Spicy California Roll. Everything was delicious, my onlycomplaint is a couple of the Boston rolls weren't tight enough so they fell apart. The sushi here is always fresh but rather unspectacular with simple ingredients. For this lunchtime takeout we tried a... selection of maki rolls with miso soup and both were fine although the rolls tend to be on the large size. Most likely we willvisit again because there aren't a lot of Japanese food options in the area. Read more
The food is good here but the prices have gone up significantly in the last year. Along with the prices rising, the portions... have also been cut down significantly. Apparently the miso soup doesn?t come with takeout orders anymore. I understand inflationis a very real thing but businesses need to choose whether they?re cutting portions or increasing prices, they should not bedoing both. Read more
