Food is good. Service is good. Prices are good (for McDonalds). Food is cooked right, never had an undercooked chicken or... burger. Fries are sometimes a bit cold, I would like if they more regularly switched them out if they've been sitting. Sometimesyour fries portions will be small (once you stand up the box, they all fall down and your box is only 3/4 full). Service isgood. Orders are taken fast and if it's busy I've seen a second person hop onto a register multiple times. Prices for aMcDonalds are good. In general McD prices are getting a bit high though. Went there today.. I'm assuming they are short staffed, but they had the lobby locked with no signs forcing people to go in the... drive thru. We found this out when we went in when a delivery man kept the door opened for us and one of the staff membersrudely infomed us that the lobby was closed for orders. If they had taken some time to put signs up then it wouldnt have been anissue. The drive thru line was out to the road so we didn't actually order anything. Read more
If you *Love* surprises in your bag, you'll *LOVE* this McDonald's! At this restaurant you truly never know what you're gonna... get. The only sure thing here is that it's most definitely not gonna be what you ordered! My friend ordered chicken nuggets forher son, and when he opened the box he found six PICKLE SLICES! who doesn't love pickles?! I ordered a sausage and eggmcmuffin, a hashbrown and a medium fry, and got a chicken sandwich on an English muffin, a regular chicken sandwich in a baconegg mcmuffin wrapper, and a large fry! What a surprise! The receipt in the bag was for an order unrelated to either of theorders I mentioned. This has to be the worst location! Will definitely be my last time visiting the Cobourg McDonalds. Head office should step in... and do something. My last 5 times visiting this location ( over a year), my order has been wrong or missing items. Silly me fornot checking my bag before I left! I will definitely drive to Port Hope next time I get a craving for McDonald's Read more
Busy location. The parking and drive thru traffic seemed to cause a bit of chaos. Upon entering, the floors were sticky. The... self serve ordering is convenient but at least two machines ran out of ticker tape , which seemed to cause some confusion amongthe patrons. We brought the issue up to the staff who advised us they were aware and they will be calling orders out. Theycould only do what they could do given the circumstance and they were terribly busy. The condiments were empty, the fountainand napkin area was filthy. The seats and table tops were sticky, we attempted three different tables before settling on one. My chicken burger didn?t taste right, something was just off, my friends Big Mac was cold. We enjoyed our fries. Beforeleaving we used the bathroom, they smelled of stale urine and looked as if they hadn?t been checked for the better part of theday. This is what under staffing looks like, and if that isn?t the reason for the entire mess we witnessed today from entry toexit, then there is a bigger issue at this location and all it would take is for a health and safety inspector to walk in, thereis no way it would pass. Drive through had no barrier saying it was closed.sat at the menu for 10min no response. Went to window where they inform me... their not open for 4 min. 630am sign on menu said 6am. I work in the service industry and usually very understanding. Keep itblocked till your open please...... Did not take my order either went to timmies. Read more
They forgot half my order worth over $30 when I ordered via drive thru (dining inside was closed). I was on a trip to the nearby... beach and didn?t realize it until I paid for parking there. it was too late then. NEVER come to this location. If you do, pleasemake sure to check your order. Happened with my sibling as well, they messed up 2 orders in a row!! My sibling had to literallyhad to wrap around and tell them they they missed their order as well. This cannot happen anymore. I've only been to this McDonald's a couple of times, both times the dinning room was closed during the day, and a note on the... door advised to use the drive thru. The line was long but moving fast. Great customer service. Read more
