It's Subway. However I would say this location is good. Service is always good and food quality is consistent.

The counter staff were very patient and friendly, even to someone like me who doesn't always have a "regular order" ready to go... before I walk in. The food was fresh, the hot items were hot, the veggies crisp and everything was prepared quite efficiently.The price wasn't bad for the portions I was served. My wife and daughter really like the food here. The service on the other hand is sub-par. The one worker hardly speaks or... understands English and I have never seen the other workers smile - it's like they hate their job and it shows. They have oneon those multi flavour pop dispensers but fat chance getting a popular flavour. As my star rating says: "It's Ok". Read more

Had an amazing experience and the staff were amazing. Very polite helpful and were friendly and overall just a joy to talk to.... Would go out of my way just to visit this particular subway because of the great staff and customers service. Read more

I have made my last visit to this location. The service here is usually acceptable, and as far as the food goes, it's about on... par with most other subways. My problems with this location, are 1) The bugs. There's a zillion bugs, flying, crawling, hangingon the tables, walls, chairs, floor, drink machine, touch screen, the glass shielding the food ingredients, so one must believethat the food itself is not immune from the bugs as well. 2) Drinks. The drink machine is ALWAYS out of at least 3 flavors. This visit, they had in the bottled drink fridge, exactly 2 bottles of pepsi, 2 orange juices, 1 gatorade, a choice of white orchocolate milk, and numerous bottles of diet Pepsi. Is the manager of this location a complete fool? Can you not keep anadequate supply of drinks on-hand? It is my understanding that Cobourg has landline phone service, modern cell phone service,advanced internet services, and still has a post office. Surely, even a moderately retarded individual could use one of theseservices to call and place orders for drink products to be delivered. I understand that the new-fangled fancy fountain drinkdispenser can automatically notify someone when it is out of drink mix or flavoring. Apparently, you, your machine, and/or yoursupplier are incapable of ensuring that adequate supplies of soft drinks are delivered to this store. This has been an ongoingproblem for many months, this is not a one-time occurrence. 3) Receipt. Depending on which employee(s) are working, you willor will not get offered a receipt. It seems to be a standard practice at other Subways, to give customers a receipt for theirpurchases. What's wrong with giving a receipt every time at this location? One of the worst experiences, going to subway has been going on for a couple of weeks now but each time I go there only one... person is working even while it's busy, each time I've gone there for a kids sub they're "Always" out of the kids toys andspecial bags, I didn't get my chocolate milk for the kids meal either. May sound racist but subway used to be a great place togo always friendly staff, never just one person working during the busy hours, it went down hill after Indians took it over.Won't be going here again. I went to Subway the other day to buy my lunch. When I got to the cash register I realized I did not have my wallet with me. ... The owner told me to come back another time and pay. I went to the bank across the street and came right back to pay but I wasso impressed he trusted me to return at a later date. Great customer service Subway!! Read more
