This place was so stellar I forgot to take pics! Unbelievable service and the most delicious food I've had in upstate ny (and... I'm from here!). Try the chicken liver pate (SO good), novalox, trout cakes (unreal w/capers and onion inside), the garlickycaesar, any grilled veggie they offer, the trout done Norwegian style, and the creme brulee! They even made made me a virginmoscow mule since I'm not doing alcohol now and it was the best mocktail I've had! Can't wait to come back! Read more

We randomly found this spot because we were attending a show in the area. It?s a bit confusing to find the entrance of the... restaurant, since it?s above a deli. Once you find it and enter, the atmosphere is a bit interesting. The rugged/chic ambienceis pretty inviting & intimidating all at the same time. We sat at the bar area and began to order food and drinks. Jon was ourbartender/ waiter for the moment that we were there. They started us off with a dinner bread called pop over. The texture of thebread was great but it had no flavor. I thought the butter would at least have some flavor but nope. It was freshly baked andwarm when it came out. I would give this restaurant a better rating but the food really lacked seasoning. I had ordered a burgerin which they failed to cook and make it. I wasn?t mad that they forgot my order because I?m sure it probably would benon-seasoned meat. My friends ordered the pork belly. The pork was extremely bland. If your ok with bland food then this spot isyour spot. The staff was nice but I wouldn?t visit this restaurant. Read more

I just heard about this restaurant a couple of weeks ago on Facebook, and I was waiting to try it. I thought everything was... excellent.... nice waitstaff, beautiful ambience, generous portions, good drinks, everything was very tasty and plated nicely. When you stop and realize where the place is..... out in the middle of Cochecton.... I would even add a few more stars. Thechoices for fine dining in this area are slim, and this is a gem.
