So?we just tried this place for the first time as it is closer to us in North Springbank than our usual haunt, Moti Mahal. What... a culinary journey it was!!! We had the best Lamb Rogan Josh that we have ever had?tender meat in a delicious made by your EastIndian Gramma?s sauce! The Jaipur Shrimp Curry was gorgeous and the sauce was outstanding! The Chicken Madras Curry was so tastyand the chicken was very tender! We ate our meals at a medium heat and it was just right! We had the Kachumber Salad and theSpicy Onions to go with?so refreshing with our meal! The Naan was wonderful and the Papadum were lovely with Jaipur?s homemadeMango Chutney (best chutney I?ve ever had!)! We were simply astounded! Everything was super fresh and homemade! Look no further than Cochrane for an authentic taste of Indian cuisine. The menu is well thought out with plenty of choices for... a selection to please any palate. The service was SUPERB! Our server was attentive without hovering. The food arrived piping hotand in generous proportions - enough for a satisfying meal and sufficient to pack up in take home containers for a repeatfeast. The decor for the dining room is tasteful and serene. The music was representative of traditional Indian music but with aslightly Western touch. Parking can be found on the street or in the lot behind the restaurant. Trying it once will warrant manyrepeat visits. Read more

Ordered some snacks/ Indian dishes but was disappointed. The kids were very hungry but denied to eat the dishes from Jaipur... Indian Cuisine. The preparations were nowhere close to Indian style and were tasteless. We could not manage to eat even a smallportion and had to take the kids. Very good food. We did takeout. Naan bread WAY too expensive...will probably buy it elsewhere and food here in the future.
