I love 5 Guys. I have been a loyal regular for years so it troubles me to write a poor review but this location as deteriorated... in quality steadily over the last 6 months. The staff is nice, but my order has been wrong 4 times out of the last five visits.The burgers have been dry, every order has had missing ingredients, and the fries have been tasting odd. On this last visit, myside of mayo had something floating in it. Ruined my appetite. I don't think I'll go back. Read more
The food is good but the prices are out of control. The crazy part is I have checked the menus in others places D.C. and other... parts of Maryland and even New York and the prices here for the same things are the most expensive...9.00 bucks for a singlepatty cheeseburger is utterly ridiculous! Service was horrendous, was spoken to very rudely and forced to show ID to pick up food even after showing the mobile receipt on... the phone for an order that was sitting on the counter with a receipt for 6:49. It was 7:30 before they finally let us walk outwith what we paid for because they literally refused to give us our order after showing receipt, order confirmation number, andwaiting there for 45 minutes with an order no one else was coming to get. The fries weren't room temperature by then, they werelegitimately cold. A waste of an entire hour and money spent. Then when we got to car and started driving off the burger wasgreasy it leaked through the paper bag and stained my girlfriend's purse. This is the worst service and review I have everwritten for a company. I usually give every place 5 stars because I know from having been a FOH manager how reviews can betracked. I love Five Guys. To me the burgers can be pricey, but it's worth it. Ordered 2 burgers, fries, and 2 bottle drinks for... delivery. Everything was made to order and delicious. This review is for the 5 guys at 10015 York Rd in Cockeysville, MD. I wish I could give it less than one star as we never... received our food. We have eaten there in the past and the food used to be good and at one time the service was friendly. However, this time we ordered online and after waiting an hour for our food, I gave up. This is after asking several times ifour order was almost ready and every time they would gesture to burgers on the prep table and say those are yours rightthere. At one point I became thirsty so I walked to the 7-11 in the next shopping center to get a soda (I wasn't going to askthe staff at Five Guys for a drink, because they already seemed annoyed when I asked about our food). When I got back from 7-11a woman who had also ordered online about 25 minutes after I did, had gotten her order and left (I know when she ordered becausewe had talked while we waited). People who had came in and ordered in the store after I had arrived to pick up my online order,received their orders before I did ( our order was not big - we only ordered three burgers and one order of fries.) Afterwaiting an hour I asked for a refund, because when I asked about our food one last time, they still gestured to the prep tableand said those are your burgers being made. I realized then we were not going to get food from there though I did notunderstand the reason. My wife and daughter suggested it was because I was wearing a US ARMY ball cap and a jacket with a Armylogo on it. In hindsight makes sense as we were the only ones who did not appear to get their food, and when I asked for arefund no employee said so much as a, "sorry about that," and the employee who gave me my refund appeared to be giving medisapproving looks. Been coming here occasionally for several years and the food quality and service are always good. During this past visit it... just seemed expensive. Grabbing dinner for just my 11 yo, he ordered a grilled cheese with bacon, regular fries, and a regularfountain drink. The tab came to $17 ($16.96). The next time he asks for either 5 Guys or McD's I am going to have to thinktwice. Read more
