I was in town for work and like trying local non ?big chain? food. I ordered a large pizza and a cheese steak sub so I could eat... some for lunch and some later in my hotel room. Pizza was great and sub was awesome. Wouldn?t say the cheapest in the world butthat?s not why I went there. It was quality not some junk where the pizza box cost more than the pizza. It was also prepared forme take out from just walking in quicker than I expected. Hope to come back next time i?m in town. Read more

I think they have the best subs in the area. Great cheese steaks and my favorite hot toasted Italian sub

Decided to give this place a try and I've got to say they do not disappoint. The restaurant itself was clean as far as I could... tell. I wasn't uncomfortable sitting at one of booths while waiting which is a plus considering how often I find dirty tables atrestaurants. The service was fast and friendly. However, we ordered 3 subs and my boyfriend was not informed of all the dealsuntil he noticed a sign after paying. That's why they lost a star. Customer service, at least in my mind includes informingpeople of any and all specials. We all know how disappointing it is to see you missed out on something. Especially after thefact... Our subs were delicious and quickly consumed. The bread was crunchy, the meat juicy and flavorful, the cheese melted toperfection, and the vegetables crisp and fresh. I would 100% recommended anyone try their food here based off of the flavor ofthese well made subs. The restaurant smells amazing, like fresh baked bread. Give pizza palace a chance and you won't regretit! #overstuffedsubfriesanddrink$9.99 #2overstuffedsubsfriesanddrinkfor$18.99 Read more

Worst pizza around hands down. The pepperoni were only on a 1/3 of the pizza and there were only a couple of them. There wasn't... even 1 pepperoni per silice. I honestly think u might as well just buy it from the frozen isle and it will be better thananything that place can produce. Just check out the picture. Read more

Be warned: DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING The 15-inch "large" pizza is actually a 12-inch pizza. With six hungry adults to feed, I... called Pizza Palace to order three 15-inch pizzas. When I arrived back home and opened one of the boxes, the first person tograb a slice paused with a funny expression and suggested that next time we need to order large. Well I knew I had ordered andpaid for the large, which is advertised as a 15-inch pizza. Simply eyeballing it, though, I knew immediately these were not15-inch pizzas. What to do? Easy. Grab a ruler! Sure enough, each pizza measured 12 inches in diameter. This must be amistake, I thought. But it wasn't. I called Pizza Palace and spoke with the manager, politely asking what they would do tocorrect the situation. He assured me that he made the pizzas himself, and confirmed that indeed he gave me what they areselling as a 15-incher. Staring down at the ruler still in my hand, lined up over the top of the pizza clearly revealing adiameter of 12 inches, I was in disbelief at their unwillingness to quickly resolve the problem. Mind you, we are not talkingabout a minor discrepancy in size. The difference is enormous. To quantify it, the surface area of a 15-inch pizza is 177square inches. And the 12 inch? 113 square inches. Not even close. That's right, a real 15-inch pizza is 57% larger than the12-inch pizza you will get when you order a 15-inch "large" at Pizza Palace. For those who like numbers, the 12-inch pizza is36% smaller than the 15-inch pizza you are paying for. Think about that for a moment. Imagine if they baked a true 15-inchpie, but before boxing it up and handing it to a customer, they cut out more than one third of it. How would that fly? Forcomparison, without naming any nearby restaurants, we purchased a 15-inch pizza from a competitor located in the same vicinityon York Road. Then we did the ruler test. The result? 15 inches across. I also called another competitor on York R Read more
