We visited Golden Krust for a quick dinner. They were out of cabbage, but instead of simply not addressing the situation, we... were asked if we wanted to wait 10 minutes, they would make more. We waited and the cabbage was delicious! We will absolutelyvisit again! Read more

I love Golden Krust. But NOT this one. ALL of the employees here have nasty attitudes. They surely act like they do not want to... be there. They act like because you're there it's a bother to them. And it definitely shows on their face. If you don't want tobe there then you should not be there. Your job is to serve the customer. I have gone there one time before and I asked forfried chicken and the chicken was very very small and almost no meat. I was not satisfied but I was very hungry so I ate it. Anddid not complain. But today I went there. And I ordered the fried chicken again this time they had lots of meat there. Theemployee that was serving my food I did not see a name tag on her shirt. But she had a red shirt. She must have been the managerbecause the rest of the employees had blue shirts on. And she looked pregnant. But anyway when I asked her a question she didnot look me in my face she just turned away and answered me so I barely could hear her. And then she proceeded to ask me what Iwant but I wasn't sure I wanted to buy it because I was not sure of the prices, being that the price varies with the size youorder, so she continued to ask what I want and begin to fill up my plate so I had to ask her again how much and then she told methe price. I specifically told her that I wanted my chicken chopped up and to put oxtail gravy. So she grabbed my chicken andwent to the corner or to the back. I wasn't sure because I couldn't see her. Then she came back and then I moved up to the cashregister because there were other customers after me. So she came and she wrapped my food and then I paid I asked her did sheput the gravy on my food and she just shook her head yes and I said "oh great because I didn't see you". I do not recommend this place unless you like being disrespected. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. The woman here... is extremely rude. I was being attended by a gentleman who I had asked to cut my beef patty in half so I can share it with myson. He didnt seem to mind and as he went to cut it the lady that works there told him twice (with an attitude) not to because ican cut it myself with a plastic knife. She said it twice because the first time she said something about it he was still goingto do it. She made a big deal out of nothing. I had my boyfriend come to this location to order me patty and coco bread with rice and peas & fried plantains and a pineapple... ginger soda. I LOVE THEIR FOOD BY THE WAY. But unfortunately when he got there they didn't have any of what I wanted. The workerwasn't even sure of what they had there. I love Golden Krust but I was extremely disappointed. Horrible customer service. I ordered a small curry goat for dinner and while eating in the restaurant I found a piece of hair... in my cabbage. I went to the register and asked to speak with the manager, one woman responded "whats the problem". I told herthere was a hair in my food, she had another woman come over and examine the hair and they both told me it was a piece of theonion. I told them onion does not look like hair, and I never seen that in my food after years cooking with onions and orderingfood with onions. The other woman behind the counter responded "so what you want us to do, the food is almost done". I told herI would have finished it then I found a hair, she then interrupted me and said "so you want a refund". I said yes a refund wouldbe the right thing to do. She then kissed her teeth and walked towards the back, the other woman then went to the computer andsaid she didn't know how to process the refund. I told her if its too much trouble I can call my bank, she sighed and said "It'sfine" as if she was annoyed and kept tapping her finger on the computer.
