Debi is a amazing server!! One of the best in town & I have dined here for 8 years, always fresh! Delicious! Customize my order... so long even the cook knows when I’m there, don’t miss out on the best Mongolian beef ! Orange chicken, chefs special friedrice or lo mien!! Ps the wonton soup rocks either style … Read more

Some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The sweet and sour chicken was not only extremely over cooked, but there was zero... chicken — only breading deep fried. Everything else had next to no flavor. Can’t recommend this place! Read more

Not bad. Just okay. Have not been at this restaurant for a while because food is kind of oily. This still holds true. Doesn’t... taste bad though. Portions are really small. For a couple bucks more, I could have a much more filling dinner most otherplaces. Ordered the Kung Pao Beef tonight. The veggies were great, but the beef was practically not there, and I ordered mediumheat and I couldn’t taste any. The spring roll was perfectly crispy but lacked taste. The BBQ pork and fried rice was good, but the best part of the meal was actually the hot and sour soup. Best hot and sour soup anywhere. I felt like I got a lunchportion for a dinner price. To top it off, my plate wanted to keep spinning while I ate, so I had to hold it in place while Iate. I’d eat here again, but mostly for the soup, and probably not often. Read more

The service was good , the food looked good but lacked any flavors. The almond chicken an sweet and sour pork had very little... sauce. I tried rolling my pieces to get some on but ended up eating dry pieces. My hubbys chow mein was supposed to be mediumspicy and he requested additional sauce which the waiter brought but still no flavor. The egg flour soup had an odd thick gellike consistency. Read more

I feel bad for the China Inn. Just terrible, in fact. Why, you might ask? Because... The Mongolian Beef The Mongolian Beef is... so wonderful, so tremendously delicious, I have absolutely NO idea if they make anything else nearly as wonderful or evenbetter, in comparison! Do I want to spice it up, asks the waitress? No While I enjoy spicy food, in this instance, the extraspice changes the flavor profile, so I recommend just let the cooks do their magic, no extra spice needed. And it's even worsefor us customers! How do we go in to a restaurant and pretend we are there for anything other than the Mongolian Beef? We fakelooking at the menu in the hopes they won't see our addiction and take advantage of us... But they know. Seriously, this is theBest Mongolian Beef in town, sadly, that's not saying much for Coeur d'Alene, but I would even challenge ANY restaurant in theSpokane area to beat this dish, it's fantastic. If any restaurant will take the challenge, put your restaurant in the Comments, and I, and any other readers, will try it out in the next 3 months, and I'll give you a fair tasting, one Mongolian Beef reviewa week, if you're game! This could be Epic!!! Read more

Good soup, good service, its a solid thumbs up for me! ???? I accidentally ordered from this location instead of the one I... normally do and I am absolutely not upset. ???? Decided to make a pit stop on the way home and I've tried a little bit ofeverything while sitting in my car. Everything tastes wonderful. Not sure if the really bad reviews are from lunch rush or adifferent shift of cooks but whoever is there on Wednesday night knows what they're doing. Read more

I believe it's under new ownership because it used to be called Chinese Gardens, but my parents had their first date there 47... years ago. Dad's passed now but Mom and I try to go there every year on their anniversary like she and Dad used to. We hadn'tbeen there since it changed names, but the food was amazing today as well as the service. It was super fresh, tasted like thecooking oil was light and airy like some Nectar of the Gods, and everything was perfectly flavored. The service was excellent.I'd highly recommend anyone go there if you're looking for your favorite new Chinese restaurant in Cd'A! Read more
