Ordered thanksgiving dinner and cornbread was very dry, the yams looked like pudding wrong color SMH and the gravy was loaded... with onions or shallots the only thing that was edible was the turkey breast and the mashed potatoes! I will never order thismeal again! Very disappointed! I?m retired and disabled so this was a bust! It says feeds 4-6 people well your lucky if it feeds4 people! Don?t order thanksgiving dinner! After three trips to CDA in a year and missing chances to eat there because of longer than average wait times, at least the... appetizers were great! Sadly the only other good part was all the history hanging on the walls to enjoy. The wait staff werevery friendly, our waitress stopped by often but never long enough for me to clear my mouth of food to voice concerns,bottomless drink after one and we should of had four cornbread muffins instead of two. What a cute busy little store before entering the restaurant part. Store prices were decent, lots to look at and buy. ... Restaurant has ample space, nice decor. The Saturday morning we went, we beat the rush. Had a 10 minute wait not sure why theyonly had a few small tables of people seated. Once seated (7 of us), service was a bit slow. Felt like they had to make theirown coffee beans as it took quite sometime for coffee and waters. When she brought the silverware it wasn't rolled/wrapped justset a handful of utensils and napkins on the table. Not sure if this was a new thing or somebody slacked on rolling thesilverware. But since our wait to get service was long I rolled and handed them out myself. After awhile our order was taken,then finally food. Good breakfast and left full. Service wasn't the best. 5 ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? staff!! Friendly, smiling welcoming staff! The porch has a row of comfortable rocking chairs to chat... with friends before or after you eat. Wonderful, tasty food ???????????? pancakes ???? were 10 star amazing, crispy edges andfluffy ... Sweet ham was so yummy, the bacon ???? crisped to perfection, ???? eggs were over easy perfect and the fried appleswere a sweet addition to a great breakfast. The gift shop was a place you could spend alot of time checking out all the manybeautiful displays. The variety of gifts are a sight to see. Read more

It's Cracker Barrel so you pretty much know what you're getting into here. With that said the CDA location is clean and the... staff are polite. Today's dinner experience started off great. The server repeated the order back perfectly. Being Easter thedining room was a bit busy so a wait for our meal was expected. Unfortunately during the 50 minute wait for our order we werenever brought biscuits nor were refills available as the server was not around. Presumably she went on break. At about 40minutes the server finally appeared stating "they didn't bring your food yet? I'll go check on it". 10 minutes later a couple ofother staff brought the meal and hurried away. No server appeared for 25 minutes at which point we had finished our meal andrequested a to-go container and the check. The check arrived and it was wrong. Waited 10 minutes and the server once again wasMIA so went to the register asking to have the discrepancy resolved. The two cashiers we're clueless as to the issue even afterexplaining the problem 3 times. Finally decided to take the amount away from the tip as too much of my time had been spent ontheir mishap. The manager appeared as I completing my credit card transaction. He did apologize but it took too long to engagesomething so easily resolved. Everyone lost out tonight. This is the only Cracker barrel in this region, to my knowledge. The food is good and the service is usually good. It is more... expensive than what I remember and the menu has had some updates. If you have never been to Cracker barrel, then you will findthat it also has a small store front. It features country style foods many of which come with gravy, biscuits, and cornbread.They have mocha now to compliment their coffee. Delicious country desserts. Read more
