The food is always top notch here and the service is normally above par. It wasn't terrible on our last visit but our server... seemed to be distracted and disappeared more than once. We were there mid afternoon on a Friday and perhaps she was preoccupiedwith finishing side work for the end of her shift or preparing for the dinner crowd to come as it was not at all busy. The trip was just what we needed. The chicken fried steak with eggs was nice and crispy and had a nice sausage gravy. The... "Dutch baby" pancake with fruit was huge with a great flavor. 1. Food was extremely bland. Mediocre..AT BEST. 2. Waitress had a huge black eye 3. Great food! Great staff! A little wait but sooo very worth it!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great. So many choices it was difficult to decide. We ended up ordering... the Crabmeat Eggs Benedict w fruit, Clam Chowder and the Crabmeat BLT Salad. All great choices. I really enjoyed my breakfast here for 2 days straight with my husband. Its my first time as well and my only regret is not... knowing this place sooner. I absolutely loved the chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly and all theflavor was of proportion. I cannot wait to come back here next time!
