I don?t complain for the fun in it and take no pride in doing so but this has to be said Do not eat here you will get food... poisoning. 3 out of 5 members of my family ( and one that got sick was my 3 year old daughter)had firehouse and we were all sickand the other 2 didn?t eat it firehouse and didn?t get sick. Since it was my bday and kids all at school decided to treat myself to lunch. Drove 50 min one way to get a sub. As they used to... be my favorite. Got my sub to go. Ordered a large and a bag of chips. $18 plus and the gas I used driving 50 minutes one way.Which I didn't mind as, like I said was my favorite. Asked for it toasted and to go. Drove another 50 min home. Super excited,mouth watering the whole way. Only to find a big soggy un toasted sub that had no flavor. Very disappointing. Bright side my 3large dogs enjoyed it. After several years of enjoying this restaurant, I was extremely disappointed with the sandwich I ordered today. These... pictures show a medium NY Steamer sandwich that costs $9.69. The picture shows 2 halves of the sandwich...there wasn't enoughmeat on either half even to reach the side of the bread. Obviously inflation is causing everyone to pay more for just abouteverything... However I'm very disappointed that Firehouse has kept the price the same and lowered the quality of the product sodrastically. ???? I won't be back. Read more
Me and my aunt came in shortly before closing and we felt bad because it was so late and it was just three teenagers who... probably wanted to go home. But they took care of our food efficiently and made good conversation during the process. They werevery nice and did a good job on the sandwiches they were delicious! I don?t share a negative review just to complain, more so in the hopes to help give constructive feedback. I just moved to this... area and was thrilled to find a Firehouse Sub. Needless to say I won?t go back? our sandwiches were overly soaked in sauce whichmade the bread completely soggy. It wasn?t good unfortunately. Online order for carry out and when I was given my sandwich I was told some of the ingredients were not available and that "we... just added some extra ham, I hope that's ok". I'm confused why the sandwich was made at all if they didn't have what I orderedthey could have told me when I arrived to pick it up. It wasn't made when I got there so I used the lavatory and came back tothe counter to wait for it. Anyway I really had no idea what was in the bag and wasn't willing to wait another 15min to get someother who knows what sandwich. Love this place. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. They always acknowledge me when I come in "welcome to firehouse"... even though I usually order online so I'm just walking in to grab my bag and put a tip in their jar. I love how consistent theyare with making sandwiches. The size of your sandwich doesn't vary by 30% like other places. Plus, they contribute to LOCALEMERGENCY SERVICES to help them get the gear that could save one of our lives or the lives of our loved ones. That's pretty coolin my book. Read more
