Self check is there to help move the line thru, weather 3 people are in it or 10. When competent cashier's are working it is... never a problem ringing at self check. I was told today that state law will not let me buy alcohol thru this self check. Thecashier even apologized loudly in front of all the customers for me having to wait in line after being refused service at selfcheck, just to be a little ruder. I hate this store lately Read more

They really need to fix there pump credit card machines !!! 10-12 credit card readers are broke which then means you have to go... into store and wait in line from people buying lunch and all sorts of things. Filling up shouldn?t be this hard or long. I?llonly use the chevron a little up street and pay same prices expect the 2 cent discount at Mavericks. Least the readers work. Read more

This review is solely for Serena, she is the best person. She knows her customers she is kind and checks in with how they are... doing. Always has a professional demeanor and knows the job well. She has gone out of her way to find an item for me and overalljust above and beyond the call of duty. Read more

Awesome they build Mavericks everywhere to grab all the business but everyone you walk into one, there is one person working and... the line is 12 people long. Seems like it's every location, all the time. Read more

I'm 41 years old and buy beer here 3 times a week. I have a nitro card and fill my rig up when I need to. I've probably bought... beer here hundreds of times over the last year. Because I look my age, I have never been asked for my ID. The other night I wentto buy a 12-pack and the man working register wanted to scan my ID. I don't feel comfortable with this because by scanning it,Maverick has access to my personal data like driver's license number, hair color, weight, eye color etc. I asked him if he couldlook at my ID and look at my face to verify my age like a police officer would do. He refused and told me that he couldn't sellme alcohol. Rather than get upset I told him that I would talk to a manager for clarification. Today, I went to speak with themanager and apparently I was 10 minutes before his shift started. He refused to even pop his head out to acknowledge me tellinghis cashier that I would have to wait that 10 minutes till his shift began. What kind of customer service is this? What kind ofleadership is that from our management perspective? what kind of example of customer service does that show to his employees? While I was in the store I watched two older gentlemen not even have their IDs checked or scanned. Why am I being treateddifferently? Read more

Recently opened store, classic Maverick with cool interior paint and requisite snowboarder hanging out from the ceiling. The... staff was very helpful, the coffee is good, plus they have expresso shots, and fuel prices are reasonable. .15 cents per galloncheaper for diesel than Plummer's gas station. Easy access, sizeable parking lot and handicap accessible. Thanks Maverik! Read more

Sort of a below average Maverik compared to others I have been to. The floorplan is very open and spacious, but you get the... feeling that's because they have less to offer. The hot food is sort of lacking in selection, and you usually only have one ortwo choices. The beer cave is a bit small and mostly cases of domestics, which is usual for Maverik, but there is less selectionthan usual. This place still beats any regular gas station if you need fuel and food and only want to make one stop, but as Ipreviously stated, it just feels like a sub-par location for the chain. Read more
