This is a great location and a great space. There is plenty of variety on the menu. Everyone loved their entrees, especially the... fish and chips. Parking is plentiful and easy. The service was adequate, but a little slow at times given the number of serversworking. Prices are about what you?d expect. I will definitely eat here again. Read more

Very good food, the service was great, the atmosphere was nice - indoor or outdoor dining. There for lunch today and the patio... was very comfortable on a 100 degree day. I was told to get the onion rings, and would definitely recommend! I got theGrownup grilled cheese and would definitely recommend! Came with fries, sweet potato fries, or handcut potato chips. Very good! Read more

Wait staff were cordial and swift and the service was great. The food left more to be desired. We ordered a bison burger and a... jalapeno burger. I wanted the jalapeno burger medium rare but it was overcooked and had no natural juice in it. Read more

I?m from Tennessee and was in the area on a school trip. Picked a random spot that was well rated and it ended up being my... favorite meal of the trip. I had the bison burger and the cream cheese egg rolls. I couldn?t have been happier about either. Thepicture speaks for itself. If you?re here please do yourself a favor and order the egg rolls. Paired with the sauce it was oneof the most delicious appetizers I?ve ever had. I?ll forever be craving them back home. Read more

We tried Sweet Lou's for the first time last night. I had the shrimp tacos which were pretty alright however i did choose to add... avocado, but my cousin got the Mac n cheese because that's usually a safe bet. Wrong. In this case if you don't like Velveetayou will not like their Mac. The restaurant does not have liquor but they do have beer and canned cocktail beverages. I didenjoy the seating area, you can choose inside or out in the warmer months and the atmosphere was pretty good. Read more

I ate at Sweet Lou?s in Coeur d?Alene for the first time on Monday, April 25. 2022. I went for lunch with my wife, our two small... children (5-year-old and 2-year-old), and my in-laws. It is in a cool spot and the restaurant is clean and aestheticallypleasing. The menu offers plenty of options, including a children?s menu. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and they werelarge, crispy, and delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich. To be honest, my sandwich was a little dry andwas simply average. French fries didn?t seem to be cooked to perfection. Also, it took a long time to get both our appetizer andentrees. For Monday lunch, I would have thought we would have been served in a prompter manner. Sweet Lou?s has a lot going forit but I wasn?t impressed with the food or service. The next time we visit CDA we will most likely go somewhere else. Read more

Out of 4 take out dinners, only 1 order was correct. We ordered Mahi tacos but got chicken tacos (and the chicken was dry). The... kids menu item had fry sauce instead of blue cheese. And most disappointing was the gourmet grilled cheese. We asked for notomato and no mayo, and got only tomato and mayo (tomato not shown in picture). The sandwich was missing the bacon, basilspread, and havarti cheese. The sandwich was inedible. Ordering here was a total waste of money and we will never do it again. Read more

Really good experience during Restaurant Week! Appetizers were the egg rolls stuffed with cream cheese/shredded cheese mixture... and calamari. The egg rolls were really flavorful and the calamari cooked perfectly. The majority of us got the lobster roll forour entree and it was better than expected! Great flavor and not heavy on the mayonnaise at all. Desserts were the Ghirardellibrownie, chocolate chip cookie, and chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. Each one provided a nice sweet bite to end themeal! They have a house IPA brewed by Laughing Dog that we really enjoyed as well! Read more
