Omg! These steaks are to die for ! Make sure you go up and pick your own steak. Be sure to let them know it's your first time... there. Its a great experience! I've never had a better medium rare steak. The portion is so huge, you'll have the bestleftovers. The cost of the food is cheap for the size of meal you get. The service is so fast and nice, everyone is so bright.Out of every place I've visited, this one has had the best set of workers who helped create an experience that much better. The rolls, the cinnamon butter, they're to die for! We brought some back to our hotel and had the rest with breakfast ????. Get... the cactus blossom too its the perfect size. We were in town for the weekend and excited to go here for the first time. Sat atthe bar partly due to wait but also it looked fun. And it was! The bartenders are great and a manager came out to say hi andgive us peanuts and a coupon for it being our first time! We made a couple vacation friends talking to other people at the barand had a blast. So much that we came back for dinner the next night too ???? and to use our coupon. While on a road trip from Vancouver, British Columbia, Seattle and Spokane Washington we ended up in Coeur D’alene Idaho and... after thinking we’d hit the Golden Corral to find it permanently closed we wandered over to The Texas Road House. Let’s justsay that we where blown away by the service and quality of the food we had that day. Willow was our server and we talked abouther at each restaurant we stopped at on the way back to Alberta saying Willow would whip these places into shape. Hands down thebest server we had on a 10-day road trip eating out once or twice per day. The food was great and the prices where veryreasonable. We enjoyed the hot buns, potato skins and we each had a steak with loaded potatoes. We didn’t need another mealthat day that’s for sure. If you’re in the area stop by and check it out. Even on a bad visit they're still good. Tonight's visit wasn't great. The server was good, as she usually is, the management... was attentive but the kitchen was lacking tonight. Ordered 3 steaks all medium. Two came out well done and the 3rd was cookedok but the meat was dry and didn't have the usual Texas Roadhouse flavor. Told the server about the well cooked meat and justasked that she tell the kitchen manager so they could improve. The manager immediately stopped at the table to see how she couldmake it better. I teiterated to please tell the kitchen so they can improve. Because of the front end staff I'm giving them a 4star review and will return despite this evenings snafu. Read more
Who doesn’t like Ribs? Meat was so tender fell off the bones. Plus hubby and I shared the onion bloom. Between the rolls,... onion bloom and side salad. I definitely shouldn’t have ordered the combo of ribs and shrimp. To be honest the ribs was thehigh light. I was not fond of the shrimp. I had thought I was ordering grilled shrimp (it did not taste grilled) but thatwon’t deter me from eating there again. Texas Roadhouse has amazing food. No doubt about that, ever! The service on the other hand, leaves something to be desired. Our... server, Patrick, was more interested in talking to other people than doing his job. When we ordered our appetizer, he neverasked what sauces we wanted to go with our Rattlesnake bites, fried pickles, and tater skins. Just brought us ranch. We watchedwhile he spent 15 minutes talking with one table, and it had nothing to do with the restaurant.(we were right across the aisle)He was prompt with our food and drinks, very personable, but not the best server I have met. Asked for Filet medium, and it took three tries to get it right. First one was well done, second was basically raw, then... finally got it. Potatoes also came out cold. Mushrooms looked (and tasted) like they were made a week ago, and the friedonions had no flavor on the top, and were brutally salty on the bottom. This was my first time here, and I'm probably notcoming back. The bartenders had passive aggressive disposition as well. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because themanagement worked very hard to make it right. Read more
