Small place, a little dated, but every time we go through colby, ks, we have to stop and eat. The food is always awesome, great... flavor, and lots of buffet options. You have to stop and eat, you will return!!! Priced very well, 2 people can eat for20.00. Clean your plate though.......lol Read more
This is without a doubt the best Chinese buffet I have ever had the pleasure to visit! So many choices, 3 islands of different... dishes. I ate 3 full plates & am not a big guy(165#). My only regret is that the rest of our tour bus didn't make the tripacross the street to eat here. Read more
My husband and I are traveling and passing through colby & I found this online since it was the only one open in town & pizza... hut. They close at 10 pm. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we were greeted as we entered. We were shown to ourtable and when we started going over everything they had and some of them were either undercooked or overcooked. I understandthat its about to close and some food were a bit cold already or not filled up anymore. Some of them were fairly good and warmto eat. I did not like the taste of their tap water at all and their ice machine where the beverage choices were, was notworking at the time. And this female staff just instantly grabbed my green tumbler to try and refill it herself. I understandthat she was probably just trying to assist me on her terms in her way but it was very off putting and inappropriate. Thatturned me off right away even after she grabbed me a glass filled with ice when she could have showed me where the ice machinewas so i had control over the amount of ice cubes in my drink. Some of the food was okay up to the ice cream that I had. Butwhat bothered me the most is that they do not have any signs or price listing anywhere (unless I was not looking around enough)so until the very end of your meal you would not have any idea how much it is that they are charging you for with taxes andtips. And on their website it is not even updated so basically they can just charge you whatever they want. The receipt evensaid holiday weekend when its not even a holiday. I would not come back here again and I would not recommend it highly to otherpeople. If you are desperate for food in kansas, this might be a good place. Other than that, I would not recommend it. I was on my drive back home to Michigan from California. It was a good lunch stop. Staff were very friendly. Clean.
