Weren't greeted when we arrived, only 2 waitresses working the entire restaurant. Food FINALLY came & one friend's food had a... clump of hair & the other's had raw hamburger in the fries. They ended up comping the 2 meals, but then it took forever forthem to collect the payment, so we provided cash & left. Read more

We split a one pound chicken fried steak dinner based on the reviews we read. It was wonderful: huge tender steak, came with two... scoops mashed potatoes. White gravy was very tasty. Very Good salad bar and rolls too. Total bill $21.80 and we took home halfthe steak and mashed potatoes! We recommend this place. Wonderful and friendly staff to boot. Read more

First off, it's not cheap BUT I was very satisfied. You get what you pay for! Its hard sometimes for truck drivers to find a... good place to sit down and eat but I walked out very full and very happy. I had the steak and soup/salad bar and everything wasgood, especially the steak and, believe it or not, the soup. The Cream of Asparagus was delicious! Had I not already had so muchfood, I would've went for another serving. The steak was cooked perfectly, the beer was only $2, and the bread pudding wasgreat. My server, Kaity, was extremely kind, attentive, and made me feel welcomed. I ate WAY too much and probably drank toomuch too and it came to just over $40 not including a tip, which my server earned and deserved. I'm sure ill find myself back atthe truck stop across the road and when I do, I will be back to visit. Good food, good service, and the atmosphere was veryrelaxing and quiet but not snobby at all. Came in for dinner and ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. We also ordered calf fries for an appetizer. My meal came with the soup... and salad bar. The calf fries were good, the soup and salad was good, and the chicken fried steak was amazing. Amazing in bothsize and flavor. It's almost like it was par cooked on a char grill and then fried. This was a great place to eat stopping through in Colby. They have a great salad bar with lots of good things to pick from. The... steak was perfect. Only negative thing was they took the ranch dressing off of the salad bar and then never put it back, so Ihad to just eat my salad anyways. Other than that would definitely come back here again.
