Went for the first time last night and although the place was packed inside and out, we sat at the bar and had an amazing... experience. Our bartender Ethan was spot on with his service. The quesadillas and Taco's were fantastic and loved the quac. Also enjoyed the local IPA draft choices. Never had the Norwich Epicure stay pretty blonde draft before but it won't be the lasttime. Not as good as we hoped. Service was friendly though a little slow. Dishes were reasonable though my entree was overly... salted. Large loud party next to us did little to add to the experience. We drove a distance just to try this recommendedplace. We won't be rushing back unfortunately. No dish or drink had the real wow factor we were expecting. Read more
Great food, wonderful atmosphere. We were celebrating a birthday, so we had a little bit of everything. We ordered the corn... fritters, the egg rolls, and the wings. The appetizers were great. The corn fritters were good and the chipolte aioli added theperfect spice and heat that made the fritters great. The egg rolls were great and the perfect crispness. They had their ownheat, but the sauce served with it, brought a nice cool contrast. The wings were well cooked and the mango chili sauce wastasty. We ordered the three tacos. So good. Large tacos stuffed with various meats. We ordered thevgrilled fish taco. Freshtasting with big chunks of fish. Very good. The pork belly was really more like a chicharron. Crispy and very good. The KoreanBarbacoa was good, if not a little too sweet. For dessert, they offered an ice cream mixed with marscapone cheese andblueberries, served with lady fingers. I did not appreciate this, although it was good. However, the carrot cake wasoutstanding. Not a fan of carrot cake, but the cake was moist, homemade and the cream cheese frosting was excellent. Um? why? I ordered three different tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were all disgusting. The condiments put on the tacos,... though they sounded good, did not compliment the protein in them at all. The beans seem to be canned beans that are rinsed andtopped with pico. That?s it. It?s the worst Mexican spot I?ve ever been to. I gave 2 stars instead of none due to the service.The employees were very friendly but I will never eat here again. Read more
