This is not BBQ do they even have a smoker? My ?brisket? was grey and more like pot roast, ribs had no smoke flavor tasted like... dirty Chinese ribs. Dirty oil taste on chicken, won?t even speak on the Mac close to best thing was the flavor of the soup myundercooked greens were floating in. Staff was nice no complaints there. Read more
All I can say is oh my God did I get lucky finding this place! It is absolutely delicious! And they?re burnt ends are the best... I?ve literally ever had! I consumed an entire container sitting in my car laughing!!!???? I ordered brisket, pulled pork,cornbread with maple butter, pickles and coleslaw along with it. I brought it home and my husband & I basically did inhalationtherapy! ???????????????????? Delicious is all I can say! I live down in Mystic and you can bet I?ll be driving up Route 85anytime I want to get barbecue. And even though they are probably I think 40 minutes away it?s such a nice drive that I knowI?ll do it happily! Ordered takeout; the rib plate with potato salad subbed in for the slaw. Good heaping scoops for sides and it came with five... ribs. Really enjoyed the potato salad which was flavored with dill and still had the skin on. The bacon mac and cheese was tastybut a little dry so I mixed in some of their sauce half way through. Ribs cooked the right amount in that they held onto thebone while eating but cleanly came off. Was my first time there so asked for one of each sauce to try and they happily obligedwhile telling me what was in each lettered container. Oz 'N Bones has it all: great BBQ, friendly efficient service and clean clean clean. Ribs and pulled pork are amazing and the... bacon mac & cheese is a must. They mix up the menu with specials all the time and portions are generous. The owner (Diane) isalways coming around to make sure everything is OK and is very friendly. My new favorite spot for BBQ. Absolutely wonderfully delicious. I've been to Memphis I've been to Nashville to some real hoedown barbecue places but this one... definitely does barbecue Justice. What an absolute amazing friendly crew. And what a delightful little setup. I can't believe myold hometown is blessed with such a amazing place to eat.
