I normally have great experiences at Papa Z's but today was not one of them. My wife wanted prime rib and they had a special for... it. Ordered online which was super easy and fast for a Friday night and chose medium rare for the meat temperature. When I gothome I was surprised that the prime rib was well done. I normally would just chalk it up to a bad or end cut but this wasclearly a middle cut. I called in to let them know of the issue and spoke with the woman who helped me check out earlier. Shewas extremely rude and told me that I will never get a rare or medium rare from them as they cook their prime rib to a mediumand then microwave it as orders come in. I asked why even offer those temperatures as an option or reheat it in the oven ratherthan the microwave and was told that I couldn't expect a fresh prime rib whenever I wanted. My next question was well if thisisn't fresh, then when is it from? This question apparently set off the woman helping me as I couldnt get a word in for the nextfew minutes as I listened to why the fact that I wanted a medium-rare prime rib was out of the question and ridiculous. I wasthen offered either a cold piece of meat from their fridge that I could then heat up however I wanted or take a refund. I chosethe refund and was met with "good because I don't think you'll be happy". On top of this, my normal order of Fettuccine Alfredowith Shrimp, Scallops, and mushrooms was extremely bland and overcooked. Honestly all of this would have still been met with 2-3stars and just chocked up to a bad night but the response that I got was just unacceptable and forced my hand. I genuinely hopePapa Z's takes this as an opportunity to do better and take off prime rib from the menu if they can't handle it. Read more

Stopped for a burger for lunch on a Saturday. Had the onion, mushrooms and Swiss burger with fries. Asked for medium and was... amazed to get it cooked perfectly. My dining companions burger was also cooked to a perfect medium. Food was very tasty andservice was excellent. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. It is amazing how many restaurants murder aburger by over cooking, but this place was the exception. Keep up the good work. Read more

Went in for a quick bite under a time constraint with the three kids, and we had our food and drinks on the table in under 10... minutes. Atmosphere was clean, spacious, and our server was sweet and accommodating. Kids' food was "delicious" and I had theWaldorf salad which was awesome and I brought half home! Very busy (phone orders, take out, and a few in-house diners) and thesmall team managed it with ease. Great lunch stop! Read more
