Price wasn?t bad on the dumpling meal with 2 sides (8.99) and biscuits. However, chicken was dry and biscuits were raw in the... middle. Asked to purchase 2 grilled cheese on the side and server could only charge for 2 full kids meals ($12), so we passed.Forgot our cole slaw as well. They weren?t that busy and it took over 30 minutes to get... our food and over 10 mins to get our orders taken but I understand because of the shortage of employees. It?s happening at everybusiness. Best French toast around and I love there turkey and dressing

Had a good time with my friend for lunch. We had a really nice waitress, Brianna, who was very attentive and through. I love... crackle barrels open faced roast beef I wish there was more that they gave you though! Felt bad for the cashier up front she hadno help and a very long line.. Stopped here while passing through on a road trip. The store was clean in appearance and our waitress (cant remember her name)... was pretty awesome except when i ordered the menu said my dish came with 2 breakfast sides. So i wanted the dumplings and somegrits, the waitress completely refused to let me order them, she said it came with apples and hashbrown casserole, not what themenu stated as i took it as i got to choose. One of my favorite places in Cold Spring to get breakfast. Food is usually good, comes quickly, and meets expectations for... classic, southern breakfast. Breakfast sandwich is really good for the price. Service is usually good- Troy is the best waiterin my opinion. I will say the bacon is very inconsistent. Sometimes great. Sometimes almost raw. We were the first group to try their new Cheescake Loaded Pancake meal. It was absolutely amazing! You will be filled when you... get 2 eggs and 3 strips of bacon or sausage. The pancakes were as filling as a full meal and super sweet and delicious. Camewith fresh strawberries on top.
