It's true that there is a popular restaurant down the block, but if you have seen a sunset already and just want a good meal in... a really nice place, opt for here. The atmosphere is quite nice, akin to an understated, quiet nautical theme. The menu isexcellent and the food stands up to the descriptions. Try the chick peas fries. Interesting and tasty. The drinks were good and the food was delicious! The only thing is that the shrimp Arancini didn't taste like they had any... shrimp in there! Other than that, totally delicious!! Will definitely be back!! Read more
Great dinner spot. Sat outside, got the Duck tacos, jerk chicken tacos and halibut, all were excellent. Got the chick pea fries... as well, a must try and v good but prob won’t order when I come back. want to try their lunch or Sunday brunch and get theduck hash. Read more
Been to the sandbar twice now. Went once for lunch and once for brunch. Brunch is Sundays 12pm-4pm only. The interior design... and decor are classy in my opinion, the outside seating is nice as well. The staff is extremely friendly. I personally enjoyedbrunch more than lunch. My lunch was good but brunch was amazing. Big difference and glad I went a second time. Dessert wasfantastic too. Like any place you may enjoy some menu items more than others. Or sometimes a particular cook works on one dayand not another, you never know. Anyway after my second experience which was brunch. I can say this place is great and you'vegot to try it. Dinner was so delicious at Sandbar. The seasonal decor atmosphere was beautifully decorated. My host and waitstaff warm and... friendly. The duck tacos were beyond- we ordered another, the warm goat cheese salad, and Sandbar burgers- DELICIOUS! Thankyou. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Read more
I just used the private room at the Sandbar for my mother's surprise birthday party and can't say enough wonderful things about... my experience. They worked with me to create the perfect menu where everyone was raving about the food. I was able to decoratethe room exactly how I wanted it and they even provided a birthday message to my mother on the menu. Check out the pictures. The women had such a great time that many of them were supposed to leave to attend another party commitment but ended up stayingto the end. The staff was incredible, accommodating and made this process as easy as possible. It was a group of 17 women and afantastic experience.
