WARNING: PSA Do not order a side caesar salad!!! My family and I had been going to the Gourmet Whaler for years since I was a... little kid. Having lunch there was the highlight of our weekend. I had moved away right before Covid, and now getting back to NYto visit, it was at the top of my list to get out to the little lunch spot I had such fond memories of?what a mistake. Thelittle family friendly lunch spot had completely changed and I did not recognize any of it (besides the tables they kept). Thewaiting staff used to be so so so kind, and now are just rude. I ordered a grilled cheese and a side salad, and asked for it tobe caesar?the waiter said that was fine. When the food came out I was basically scolded for ordering a side caesar salad. ?Wegave you a side caesar salad this time, but don?t you EVER expect it again?. She kept repeating to me that I would never in thefuture get a side caesar salad and that this time they did me a huge favor by giving me one. She was deadly serious in front ofmy family and boyfriend. I was completely embarrassed, humiliated, and lost my appetite. Was it that big of a deal to drive ithome that hard??like don?t worry, for the future, I won?t order one because I won?t ever be back. Not to mention, the orderingprocess was completely convoluted. It is a free for all with confusing signs. The food that used to come out in cute littlebaskets with sides of chips now comes out in to go boxes (without chips) and is soggy. Loved our Sunday lunch here. Dog friendly, casual, and such a nice team of people. We enjoyed looking at the sweets case and... will look forward to trying them next time. Their lunch menu has a solid selection of gluten free and vegetarian and veganoptions and they were great about noting allergies for their kitchen. Read more

Looked up a brunch spot, found this spot on google maps. Told my wife about it and went for brunch. We ordered the Breakfast... B.L.T, Egg Avocado Wrap, Chocolate chip scorn, pumpkin pie slice and to drink it was a coffee cappuccino and the iced honeyvanilla latte, everything was scrumptious and very filling. The restaurant had so much to offer such as bakery goods, ice creamparlor, coffee shop, breakfast and lunch platters, the dine in area was spacious and very clean. Customer service was super niceand very accommodating. Definitely would recommend to people near by and people who are willing to travel. Read more

Really takes care of the customer.???? -Best lobster rolls on the... island/NYS - both in quantity and quality. -bright spot with big windows, reasonable space in their seating area.
