If you appreciate good old fashioned polite helpful people and service then Alexander?s Liquid store is for you. The woman I... dealt with way lovely, friendly and helpful. The young man brought a heavy item out to my car without being asked and the ?waitfor it ? he opened the drivers side door for me as well. Thanks to both of you!!! Very nice pub grub (as the expression goes). This pub is right by the water beautiful views! The washrooms have been renovated... and are very nice!!! (Nice to see a clean bathroom in a pub, as most pub washrooms are absolutely awful, this pub has stepped upto provide a nice atmosphere all round. Our server was very nice aswell!! Read more

Great experience from top notch service to delicious food ????. We had a chance to try BBQ whiskey ribs and a delicious burger... with very unique sauce l wish l had a recipe for. This place is a must if you are visiting Vernon. The patio has beautiful lakeviews if you are lucky to get the spot. Overall very good experience and we will be back! Read more

Went out for what we presumed would be a nice enjoyable lunch with some family. We were seated rather promptly and our drink... order was taken quickly however they forgot certain requests which whatever not the end of the world. Once the waitress came andtook our food order the food came in an expected amount of time however no side plates or cutlery were provided. Awe politelyasked for some cutlery and after waiting and waiting finally got up and helped ourselves to the serving station so we could tryand eat our meals while they were still warm. We anticipated the food to be delicious based on reviews and friends experience,however the bacon on the club was raw the tomatoes and lettuce wilted and soggy and the turkey tasted old and fatty. The frieswere cooked half way through and cold in the middle and during the entire meal we were not checked on once. We stacked ourplates and a passing by waitress grabbed them and proceeded to wait 15 minutes before the server asked us if we wanted our bill.She came back and we paid and left. We still tipped her however only enough to cover her tip out. We were not once asked how ourfood was or if we wanted another beverage. Even the end of the meal she just said oh you want your bill. I would not recommendjenise or the pub if they cannot be bothered to check on their patrons. All of the above complaints could have been very easilyresolved if they had provided proper customer service. There have to be better places in Vernon to eat. Find those instead of going here. It feels as though this restaurant has relied... on location instead of food, cleanliness, decor, etc to survive. We sat on the patio. The majority of the hanging plants weredying / dead. It was dirty and besides the awning there was no other cooling system in place to make the temperaturecomfortable. Disapponting is an understatement. Service was horrible, food took forever to arrive. Our server disappeared after we order our... food. Only came back when we were halfway through our meal. Asked for our bill that took quite some time for her to come back sowe could pay our bill. Now I know why I haven't dined here since last summer. Greeted with kind servers, and received amazing customer service. Table are spaced out so you dont feel crammed. We literally... ordered and had our food in 7 minutes.
