Looking foward to a relaxing dinner in a cozy atmosphere. My husband had steak and said it was pretty good, but mashed potatoes... were instant. I ordered the ribs. Big mistake. They were ALL fat. That is not an exaggeration. They were the worst ever eaten.They should be ashamed to serve that. Too fat to even take home and give my dogs. Read more
Bills steak house is a long time favorite. Bills on the Green, Bills Grill house, not so much. We had not come In Years because... we were unhappy. Last night we decided to give it another try. My husband ordered a ribeye med rare. It came out dark red rarebut he went for it anyway. I ordered prime rib med rare and it came out char broiled and med well to well, but I continued onalso. The baked potatoes were not ready so he got salt and paper steak fries. Well, steak fries with salt and pepper on top itwas. I got mashed potatoes and gravy. The taters were boxed and poorly made, the gravy, canned. We both ordered asparagus whichwas smothered in margarine and we were upcharged for this. Although we were not informed it would be an upcharge. I orderedfountain Pepsi for 3 bucks. My meal alone came to 34$. I would gladly pay that for a good meal but this was not! Our serverdidn't seem to excited to serve us, mind you we did not complain or send anything back. Later in the night we both were blessedwith a night in the bathroom accompanied by some horrible cramping. I tried to call the next day during open hours so they couldavoid anyone else getting sick but no one bothered to answer the phone. We will not be going back. Read more
Ive been here three times over the last two years and I think Im done. Every time I come here I order the ribeye, medium... rare....and all three times it has come out cold, bland, undercooked in the middle, and burnt to a crisp on the outside. Onewaitress asked if everything was okay, I said "No, this steak is burnt, cold, and still bleeding" She asked if I wanted them toput it back on the grill. I replied "...and what? Burn it some more?" They need to quit cooking their steaks on the surface ofthe sun. For a $28 meal, I would expect it come out better than what I can do myself, at home.....but that is not the casehere. Dont get me wrong, I do enjoy a little crispy fat around the edge, but its not enjoyable to eat powdered charcoal andbloody flesh. The first two times I came, I thought I was just unlucky and they had bad cooks, but after two years, the food isstill the same. They are consistent, I will give them that. Read more
Last few times we've been there this has not been good. I ordered ribeye and my daughter ordered prime rib, when they came out... they were both the same cut of meat, cooked exactly the same way.. Not sure why you char broil a prime rib. Very disappointed. I'm not sure I'll go back again Read more
Had crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer and they were delicious. I had prime rib sandwich and husband had large lake perch. Both... were generous portions and had great flavor. A couple draft beers and dinner was a success. Will definitely go back and see howthey do with other menu items. Read more
We found this place online and thought we'd try it out. It is Coldwater Country Club's restaurant. We're not golfers but there... were plenty of non golfers there for a meal. Great view! We got the fried cod basket and the French dip hand held (prime rib).Both with yummy fries. Both were very good meals. Devin was attentive and meals came out quickly. So I was not at all impressed with my meal. My prime rib was way over cooked. No I didn't want another. I literally paid 30 to... feed my steak to the garbage. It's been this way the last couple times. My husband and I loved coming here but sadly it will beour last time. Waitress dropped off food and turned around. waitress was great, food was WAY too salty. very disappointed taking out of town friends here for a "nice" steak dinner... the... steak was decent, but the manager was shouting at a server and it was EXTREMELY off-putting and to be honest, embarrassing. *cannot recommend* Read more
