The second you park the smell of smoking meat greets you! Food was excellent bf saw what another table was having (the belly... burger) and had to have it too!! he smashed the burger fast! ???? I had the tacos and they where also excellent. Word to thewise if you don't like your coffee so strong a horseshoe would float get something else. Really really good bbq. The brisket was out of this world, as was the slaw. The belly burger was really good too, but frankly... just overshadowed by how good the brisket was. Potato salad and Mac and cheese were also very good. Great service, great food,would 100% return. My young kids had a decent time there too, the crayons and menu kept them pretty occupied. Read more
I visited the restaurant with my children on Tuesday evening around 7pm. After 90 minutes we left hungry as our meals still had... not come. We ordered our food including one appetizer and two meals. After approximately 30 minutes, no appetizer and thewaitress had not been back once. I went to the bar where she was and inquired, ?maybe our appetizer was missed on the order??Her response was ?no it was not and it was coming?. About 15 minutes later the appetizer arrived. It was the corn poppers, theywere half cold inside. She never returned to our table to check on us and our drinks had been empty for quite sometime. I couldsee a couple large tables on the other side of the restaurant so we patiently waited for our meals. After around 60 minutessince our initial order, still no meals and the waitress had not come to see how the appetizer was or to refill our drinks. Ifound her again at the bar and noted it had been an hour could she check on our meals. She came back 10 minutes later took ourempty plates and said the food was ?coming?. No apology or explanation, and still no refills. I asked if she could inquire abouta discount for our order given the long wait. She said she would ask. Another 20 minutes passed (now 90 minutes since ourorder). She did not return, nor did our meals arrive, so with empty drinks and hungry stomachs we went to the bar to settle ourbill and cancel our meal order. Not even an apology was offered nor was any compensation for the experience. The table next tous had the other waitress working serving them. As we waited we noticed they also had no service or food in over an hour. Iappreciate that a restaurant can be unexpectedly slammed but this was handled very poorly. Read more
Ah-mazing. I wasn't expecting to have my mind blown, but it definitely was. The Brisket changed my life and the slaw was... delicious. My husband had the belly burger and it was great (although I gave him a bite of the Brisket and its radiance made hisburger a little less enjoyable in comparison). The Mac and cheese was Smokey goodness and my kids loved the pizza. Read more
Fantastic BBQ in a small town you normally wouldn't even stop in. The brisket was as good as any I've had and our server brought... me some maple syrup for the cornbread. My wife had the deep fried pickle burger which was huge and very tasty. Definitely worthplanning your day around while traveling through the area. Read more
The tacos are delicious. Try the brisket or pulled pork! Staff was a little slow but was friendly. They have a delicious... jalapeno pineapple margarita. The smoked chicken wings are so good!! Read more
My family and I came here for dinner. We received great service here. The calamari was delicious?.in fact everything was... delicious- beef brisket, pork ribs, bacon macaroni and cheese, corn bread, wings, and those beet chips!! We all left verysatisfied! We will be back? Read more
Went back for our 5th wedding anniversary dinner (wedding reception and 2nd anniversary were here). We both had the beef short... rib $24.00 with Mediterranean salad $6.50 plus one drink each. The flavor was fantastic. The quality and quantity were lacking.The ribs had a large layer of fat down the middle. As for atmosphere: the "background music" was too loud and the wrong type for a country themed restaurant. The waitresses were not professional in their appearance or behavior. My husband was finishedhis meal first but I was still eating when the waitress asked if we wanted anything else. She then asked if we were ready forthe bill. I was still eating!!
