Maybe it was because it was a Monday night, maybe it was because they are under-staffed. The experience here was one more of the... worst I?ve ever had, even for a ?pub?. Waitress never introduced herself but she was a heavier set woman with dark red curlyhair. Me, my wife and 2 young daughters sat down at 5:45PM. We ordered our food at 6:15 and received the food at 6:50. Ourwaitress came by a total of 4 times and at some point around 6:30 she said our food would be out shortly. No issue there. Butwhen 20 more minutes passes and no transparency is communicated it becomes frustrating as a customer. We asked for the checkwhen we got the food because our girls were getting cranky. She didn?t ring us up right away and proceeded to clean tables andwalk in the back many times before returning with the card reader. None of this would have bothered me as much had the bill notbeen $80. The food is mediocre at best, and the experience made it much worse. Found this gem off the highway on the way to Reno. The saloon-like exterior gives way to a warm and inviting dining area. The... staff are great and friendly. Me and the hubby shared the amazing Dill Chicken Sandwich and our server advised us on how tobest split it ????. And even though we split the sandwich, we left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied! This is now my goto stop when we make our trips to Reno/Tahoe! Read more
I have been wanting to stop and eat here for a while now and had finally had the chance. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast!... Service was great plenty of food. Stopped here during a group motorcycle ride. Service - outstanding! Food - amazing! Best breakfast I've had in a while. Prices -... very reasonable. Even though we were a group of 6, our food arrived quickly and everyone's orders were spot on. Our serverKylie was very attentive and took great care of us. Everyone loved their food. I ordered Cassidy's Waffle Combo with a side ahashbrowns. I have to say, that waffle may have been the best I've ever had. It was that good. I can't recommend trying itenough. This place makes a KILLER breakfast. Me and the girls stopped in and tried 3 different menu items, all were so good we asked the... waitress to thank the cook for each individually. The biscuits are home made and the girls both said they are delicious. Theyhave heavy cream for coffee and the cook makes a hot sauce you might like! My Dine and Dash experience was a Cobb salad to go. The server had my salad ready within 15 minutes. Their Cobb salad is a... perfect proportion of romaine lettuce to goodies ratio. You can call in your order ahead of time. The Sicilian French dip hasway too many onions on it. If you're not an onion lover, you might not want to order this entree.
