After an incredible UMD men's soccer game win against Michigan State my comrades and I strolled over to this establishment and... were greeted by a very nice employee at the counter. His cheery disposition led me to believe that my calzone would be served ina timely manner. Alas, I was mistaken. With only two similarly optimistic people ahead of us we were expecting a short wait orat least a reasonable one. As time passed we found ourselves there for upwards of half an hour. Growing increasingly restless, our food slowly came out one calzone at a time with the last one appearing around the 40 minute mark. My compadres and I areunderstanding people. We were more than willing to give this establishment grace regarding wait times. Despite there beingprecious few others in the restaurant, we assumed that the wait time would be made up for by the quality of the product. Withour stomachs growling, my buddies and I meandered over to the table with the greatest amount of chairs. To our dismay, there wasnot sufficient seating for the four of us to dine together. Very well, we will take the food with us to go. Minutes later, still riding the emotional high from UMD soccer's breathtaking victory, we eagerly bit into our calzones. Alas, the first biteis what took the wind out of our sails. Here is where this tale takes a harrowing turn. This bite was the most disappointingbite of food I have taken in a very long time. The food lacked quality and flavor. Possibly the worst part was the pizza sauce.Once I ate it, I could instantly recall tasting this before. I took another taste and knew what I was thinking of. Lunchablespizza sauce. I mentioned it to the 3 others I was with and they agreed. Allow me to be clear that tasting like Lunchables pizzasauce is not a compliment. From here on out every bite was miserable and just so I could make myself feel as though I had notcompletely thrown away $10. Read more

We got three calzones and they were all wrong. One of them was labeled pesto but it was full of meat. Unfortunately my friend... who ordered it is a vegetarian and ended up getting sick after taking a big bite expecting pesto. She literally hadn't eatenmeat in years because of a health concern so it was really not good. They refused to refund us when we called. dude on the phonetried his best though so shout out to him. Our experience at this fine dining establishment was exquisite. From the incomparable table service to the sociable and... professional ambiance, CP Dough is a class act. My peers and I will forever treasure the experience we shared seeking refugefrom the woes of a bitter and unforgiving College Park night, warmed only by the cinnamon-y goodness that the Apple-Zonieprovides. I can sincerely envision this establishment becoming the crown jewel of South Campus, College Park, PG County,Maryland, the Eastern Seaboard, and even the country at large. Give them a few weeks, and people will begin making pilgrimagesfrom the West Coast for these calzones. The maitre d? was an absolute delight, potentially even rivaling Marathon Bhad Baby. Read more

I had the twilight zone. It was ok. It was 6pm and I hadn?t been drinking. I bet it?s better late nights after the bars. The guy... running the counter was exceptionally polite and friendly. The rest room requires a code. Read more
