Place was not packed during lunch. Quickly seated and drink order taken. Ordered food shortly after. Half of the meal came out... and I just assumed the rest would follow shortly after. Waited 5ish minutes before asking about food. Waiter was very apologeticand got the meal order placed. Comped the missing meal. I never did get ranch and we had to flag down the waiter to leave. We checked out Chili?s this weekend for lunch expecting a chillie condition that matches to its name ????. We started off with... the bottom less chips and salsa. It was indeed larger than a normal chips portion you?d get at similar restaurants. But we (justtwo of us) ultimately reached the bottom before we got our main course served. ???? Chips are much firmer and salsa wasdefinitely one of the best I?ve had. We got the Big mouth bites (comes with fries) and Santa Fe Chicken salad without chicken.The menu has two-three vegetarian options and they offered to make any bowl without the non-veg protein as an option too. Theportions are reasonable for a light eater - say for myself I needed help finishing through my fries but the bowl waslower-than-average size for a Texas-scale-eater. Apart from food, the place is clean, staff very welcoming, and the wait to getseated was reasonable. College Station Chili's is great If you don't mind waiting to be waited on. Stood at the door for several minutes so I went... looking for someone and that's when someone came to seat us. Lady apologized and said they were getting ready for shift change.We get seated and then someone else comes and takes our drink order. Brings us our drinks and says she'll give us a minute toorder. After we stacked our menus she looked at us 3 different times before coming to take our food order. Food was lesser thanany other Chili's we've been to. Chili's is one of my favorites so we have been to Several locations. The table beside us wasdirty for over 30 minutes before anyone came to clean it. It was around 3pm and they were not busy at all. The salt shakerwouldn't work and the lady blames it on humidity and gave is salt packets. Those were just clumps of salt. Overall this was theworst Chili's experience. Wide variety of menu options. Had the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl since I was looking for a healthier option, and trust me,... I wasn't disappointed. Food is served in good proportions and is definitely worth the price. Would love to try their combo mealssomeday. Great experience with the dining and hospitality. However, during the pandemic they are just providing a glass panelseparation between the adjacent tables and running at full capacity. Read more
Food was great but took a long time to be ready. My kids wanted Pizza in the kids menu but they were out of it. Waiter was very... forgetful, mixing up orders and even forgetting some requests. Waiters were very polite. I will surely be going back. Read more
So this chilis has been a go to for me and my family when we wanted good food. However the least 2 times of dining here was NOT... pleasant nor was it up to par with good food. I ordered the Cajun pasta and substituted the shrimp for steak....instead theygave me chicken...I expressed thoroughly that we do not eat chicken and it was understood so I thought....then we ordered thebig mouth bite burgers only to find that they were NOT cooked all the way through...the food was cold and even the strawberrylemonade didn't taste good. The overall experience was very POOR...The manager heard my request for steak instead of shrimp andshe disregarded it and told me to have a nice day...she didnt offer a refund nor did she ask if they could remake it...I askedfor a refund because we barely was able to enjoy any of our food here...I am really disappointed and now this chilis locationwill no longer receive our money....the waitress was very kind though so I do appreciate it!!
