Really enjoy this restaurant but due to it's popularity there's usually a longer wait for seating than I'm willing to wait just... to have dinner but the atmosphere is really cozy and fun, the staff is warm & friendly, and the food hasn't disappointed me yet.If you're willing to wait a "few" minutes for a table this is a great option for Mexican food. We keep trying to give Chuy?s another chance. But since Covid hit it has gone down hill and never recovered. The food now... seems to be either too bland or too hot and spicy. No consistency. The chuychanga today had NO cheese in it at all. The chipsdo not even taste like they use to. The tortilla on the changa was doughy. Chuy?s is a good restaurant, if you go sit down and eat there. Don?t get carry out! We ordered these ?nachos? from Chuy?s for... carry out, and they are just plain sad. This was $12. Our server, Hannah definitely gave us a 5-star experience. Food came quickly, food was hot, chips and salsa tasted fantastic. No... complaints. Even though I've had catered food multiple times from here in the past, this was the second time I've been here(didn't want to take pictures last time since it was on a business visit) - this time with about 6 people. After game meal, this place is always busy but wait is never that bad. Server quick and attentive while waiting several tables.... Huge fan of the enchiladas especially with the New Mexico red sauce. Margaritas aren't our thing but they are known for them. I do wish they had beer on draft but plenty of bottled variety. One of our favs when we are in College Station. Read more
