I give 5? to Cotton Patch because our waitress was freakin' Great. She was patient with us because we never been there B4 so it... took us some time to order (and I thank her for being patient). I dined here with a group of friends on a Sunday morning during a busy football weekend. The restaurant was relatively quiet and... there was no wait to be seated. I was pleased with my food but not everyone at my table enjoyed their food as much as I did. Theonly complaint I had was my fries were cold. Overall, the menu offered a lot of options for even the pickiest of eaters and theservice was fast and friendly. I would gladly dine here again. Read more
Cotton Patch has always been a quality restaurant with good food. Unfortunately, like so many things their quality is definitely... not what it once was. Placed delivery order tonight. Food was decent; openly acknowledge delivery food is never as good aseating there or even picking it up. However, real issue is the amount of items they forgot. The majority of items forgotten wereside dishes and condiments. No gravy as request with 2 separate dishes, no ranch as requested for appetizer, no ranch dressingwith salad as ordered. 4 side dishes forgotten, wrong size on soup order. Called restaurant; spoke with manager (Robert), he didtake blame for it, but it was simply, "Sorry was trying to get orders out" and left it at that. Two retired friends of mine and I decided to go here for a change of pace for lunch. Our waiter was very patient as we took time... to decide what to eat, and was excellent throughout. An associate staff was also very good. The food order was correct, and wasvery delicious. Food portions were great, and prices were reasonable. We will return but, as usual, not certain when. Good food for the most part. Chicken fried brisket was?unique. Probably won?t try it again. Loved the fried mushrooms and pickle... apps, and the fried catfish. The mac and cheese side is literally just the kind from a Kraft box, very bland and came outlukewarm. Other sides were good though. There was an upcharge on my bill (I?m assuming due to price increases?) which wasn?t abig deal but I would have appreciated knowing that beforehand. Read more
One of the best places I have eaten at in years. I'd like to update things..... Visited yesterday and I am very Dismayed at the... massive change they have done.. The nice great varied menu is All fancy and colored and full of food that is deep fried and wellnot what Older people normally eat. They still had a lunch menu but it was Severely limited with only one side or you can get asoup and s salad for a decent price. Sadly if you wanted soup and salad with your main course it costs a whopping Nine Dollarsmore.. Be very wary of the changes and the charges now. It can cost you massively. The food was Meh this time the Meatloaf wasswimming in tomato sauce.. My friends cesar salad was full of chicken that was burned on one side. The Waitress was wonderfulbut it was sad how the changes have made this place one I will not return to anymore. Read more
7-8pm dinner was well worth the wait. First time customer. Greatest service ever, but very busy, so use patience. Waiter was... well mannered and apologized many times, saying every time he was coming to out table, someone would stop him with a request.He was so sweet and made our evening most enjoyable. My husband had meatloaf and I had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes andfried okra. A good hearty Texas meal either way. Sweet tea washed it down. Easy to find in the Kroger parking lot.
