I want to apologize for everyone who went elsewhere to purchase pizza for personal consumption. I want to also apologize for all... the other pizza joints in town that have now been deemed seriously sub-par. This pizza is amazing. I used to be someone whowould tolerate a discussion about from where the next pizza order should be placed, now it's South Flo or we're gettingsomething other than pizza. Just the smell of the place alone when you stride into H-E-B is so tantalizing that one must conjureall their strength not to be overcome by desire for a mouth-watering 16" pizza for only $10. And do I have to mention the dailyHappy Hour from 4-7? Why would you even CONSIDER any lesser pizza?! I dare any person in this area to put a pizza at this pricepoint up against South Flo's artisan crust and high quality ingredients. Heck, buy some other "gourmet" pizza for double theprice and half the size and still you will be left with nothing but shame, regret and less money in your pocket knowing youcould have had South Flo. Don't be like the hosts of mindless consumers who never venture out into something new, and don't gofor that pizza that gets steamed and soggy on it's delivery route to your home. Inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza is good, sometimes its dry. The guy who made my pizza gave me a greasy receipt back but the... pizza was dry?? A couple of times, the pizza did have enough sauce on it and it was decent. But I wouldn't bother, just keepgoing down wellborn and pick up some Piasano's. Read more

When my brother and I would get our groceries at the beginning of each week, we would come here to get pizza before starting to... shop (before COVID). We got their supreme pizza and it was always made immediately (very quickly) and tasted great with ranchdressing. It's the kind of pizza that you eat way too much of and then realize you're now going to have to shop for 20 minutesfeeling like a bloated mess. Pizza + HEB is a combination that can't fail. The 16" for $10 is a fantastic deal. By comparison, the 8" for $7 doesn't seem... like a great deal considering that the 16" has 4x the area of pizza (?r^2, ya know). But maybe that actually makes the 16" allthe better. The fact that there's a 4-7 happy hour every day also is wonderful. The only thing that would make it better is ifthey had growler fills (and expanded beer selection) like some HEBs. Didn't like my cheese pizza but the thin crust was good. Got my pizza in 3-4 minutes. The crust itself had a flavor similar to... the ones in wood-fired oven pizzas. Quantity of cheese was way too less. Couldn't find any sauce in there. It's meant to beenjoyed right after it comes out of the oven because a few minutes after that, the thin crust becomes very dry and hard tochew. The pizza here is now our favorite in town. We walked into HEB one day, and the smell was too amazing to resist! We get pizza... way more often than we did before we found out about South Flo, because everything else is average in comparison. Very surprisedto find such good pizza in an HEB. Read more
