We had an amazing time. At wasn't too busy because we went on a home game night, but they had live musician, and he was... absolutely great. He did requests, was funny, and was a wonderful singer. The drinks were good and reasonably priced, the mealwas SO good, and the staff was sweet and service was prompt. Absolutely would recommend for a treat dinner spot for a familyexperience or hanging out with friends. Read more

I came to Las Palapas last week. When I got close to my house I noticed an item missing. I called and the manager , Jack,... answered and was ready to rectify the problem. I hung up satisfied with his resolution. As soon as I got home I noticed therewas meat on our order. I called and the manager and he apologized and actually came and brought me the correct plate. Jack didnot have to do that but he made my day. I had to head out of town right after and he made sure this hungry lady got her food. Iam forever grateful!! Thanks for going above and beyond!! (Especially where we live in a time where customer service is few andfar between!) You are appreciated!! Read more

First time here, our experience was great. They have table service and we spent about $40 for the 3 of us. They serve chips... and salsa immediately. Our waters came soon after. Our food was correct and delicious. Our table service was prompt. LasPalapas exceeded our expectations. Read more

Ashton was a mf SUPERSTAR. However, the manager was super uptight, hard working, but uptight nonetheless. Don?t bump into your... coworkers and not say excuse me, it?s not a good look, [Sip, Cip?] very aggressive body language. We sat by the door and it wasvery awkward to watch his interactions with staff. Drinks were delicious, food was good (needed salt, but always better tounder season than over season) my shrimp was cooked VERY well, I was impressed! The enchiladas were also delicious.the chickenwas perfectly cooked, not at all dry, or bland. This is our maiden visit, but certainly not our final! Read more

We ate there on a VERY busy weekend, but were still seated quickly. Table was dirty and floor needed to be sweot and mopped, but... as I said, was a busy weekend. Waiter was awesome and very attentive. I will give him 2 thumbs up. Food was good. Ordered thecheese dip app with carne picadillo in it. Was so good. Ran out of nachos and unfortunately they never brought refill. Daughterordered a half shrimp nachos plate and said she should have ordered full plate to have leftovers because she really enjoyed. Iordered Deluxe nachos and they were very good as well. I ordered full order and there were no left overs there! Even poured someof the queso dip on top. Wow..highly recommended. Wife ordered some chicken enchiladas in a cream sauce. She said were verygood as I could tell. Again...no left overs. Chain restaurant from San Antonio, so we were familiar with... Read more

Heard about this place opening up and heard drive good word of mouth from a couple of folks do the SO and I decided to try it... for Sunday brunch. The place was not crowded, which was a good thing considering that almost every employee there was notwearing a mask. Only the table cleaners did. We sat in the patio section and enjoyed the outside for a change although, if truthbe told, we would have enjoyed it a bit more if the tables and chairs were cleaned first. The waiter took our order promptly andwe ordered a couple of beers, been and cheese nachos, and a fish taco plate. The beers were nice and big (24oz) and cold but the'nachos' consisted of 8 chips with a bit of cheese and beans on each one. Yes, there were only 8 chips. The taco plate came withtwo tacos but the fish was over cooked and my wife had to remove some of the burnt crust before she could eat it. She said itwas so-so. Oh, and get this, they put tomatoes in the beans. Not diced but like quarter chunks of a whole tomatoe inthere! While it was not a disaster, the experience could have been a lot better. A bit better attention to maintain a cleanestablishment, a bit better attention to food preparation, and maybe a bit more gracious with the food portions would make thisa good place for us. As it is, probably will not go back. Read more
