Last time I went to Layne's was pre-pandemic (remember those days?) so it seems a new review is in order. I'm happy to say not... much has changed. The menu is reduced as far as options but I still felt like I ate like a king: 5-finger basket (or 3, Iforget) with toast, potato salad, an extra sauce (must have!), and a drink (water) for a hair less than $10. Still a good choice for tenders, but the consistency and quality of the tenders varies a lot. If judging by the best tenders, I... would rate it 5 stars. By it's worst, 1 star. And please stop asking if I want the potato salad when ordering a box. If Iwanted something else, I am capable of specifying.
