Sandwich was good service was not , James be nicer the next time someone asks about your soups

First time in years I was able to eat here. The person taking our order was just ok & not very thorough. This was surprising,... since this location is in AGGIELAND. We usually receive excellent service. Anyway, we split the turkey avocado sandwich. It wasgood, large & plenty for two. Limited soft drink variety & crumbs on our booth table, before we sat down. Bathrooms ok, butcould be cleaner. I guess my expectations were too high. Will skip eating here again, next time we're in town. Read more

Very rude manager. I ordered an original on gluten free bread and they handed me an original on sour dough. This was ridiculous... because I had told drive thru I had a gluten allergy and that it was very important that nothing that touched gluten touched mysandwich. But yes, I understand orders get messed up, I've worked in food before. The only reason I'm writing this is because ofhow rude the manager was. When she handed me my food I opened it to make sure it was what I ordered. I saw that it wasn't glutenfree so I was a bit upset but just asked for a new sandwich. She told me she couldn't do that because she "didn't like myattitude." So I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. She wouldn't give me her name but she was a short,heavy set Hispanic women. I think she was wearing a purple shirt but I cant remember. I went through the drive through and ordered a small roast beef sandwich and unsweetened iced tea. 10 minutes later, when I... opened the bag, I got to enjoy a really good ham sandwich. That's the 2nd time I've been there and the same thing happened lasttime. I wonder if they will make me a roast beef sandwich if I order a ham sandwich? This is a great place. The food is always fresh... "love the salads" and the sandwiches. The staff is so friendly. Met the very... friendly manager Shanel or Chanel this time, sorry about the spelling. And it is always so clean. I'll be be back. P.S. I ordered extra onions and extra lettuce. My sandwich had only about two or three tiny strips of shredded lettuce, and maybe two... itty bitty strings of onion. Virtually non existant . This happens every single time I order a sandwich from either thislocation or the one on university. Husband's sandwich this go around was just full of inedible chewy fat, the roast beef wasdisgusting and was pink enough to be mistaken for ham , as well as none of the requested onions or lettuce. Won't be back, havegiven schlotskys enough chances. Update: husband is now extremely sick with food poisoning after eating here yesterday, 100%sure it was the sandwich since that's all he ate. Always a great sandwich and friendly, prompt service. The pizzas are good too as are the salads. They make good cookies and the... fact that they have cinnabons is a bonus. One of my go-to spots for lunch. Consistently timely and good food. The new Hawaiianbrisket sliders are delicious! Read more
